Spurs have entered a "partnership" with Real Madrid following the sale of Modric to them: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19389191
Basically this means they are now Real Madrid's official feeder club.

Doubt Everton will take him back.

Is there an echo in here . . here . . here ?
Probably because we are going to play 4231 which requires two athletic DMs who are comfortable on the ball and we want proper cover in every position. We do need three other players though - a striker, someone to challenge Sig for the pivot role in the forward three and a goalkeeper. I'd be happy with this squad:
Lloris, Gomes, Friedel
Walker, Naughton, Smith, Caulker, Dawson, Gallas, Verthongen, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto, Rose
M'Vila, Parker, Sandro, Livermore
VdV, Willian, Mouthinho, Sigurdsson, Carroll, Bale, Lennon, Townsend, Dos Santos/Falque
Adebayor, Leandro Damiao, Kane
May be a bit much to hope that we can do all that though.

Understatement of the year.![]()

Where did they find a spare 100 million?

I trust you saw my response on the transfer thread?
In all seriousness, I think we'll sign Lloris (which seems really close now) and Willian (which also seems close).
M'Vila - not sure if we need him but I think we'll sign him too.
We won't sign Moutinho or Damiao - both far too overpriced.

Meh. Our interest in him has long died down. Although, I would us to buy him but Wenger is sadly no longer interested, it seems.
