It was our weakest squad for years, and we had only 10 men, thanks to Barton.

At the end of the day mate you play every team twice, you can sometimes win a cup due to luck but over a 38 game season you generally finish where you deserve to. Only the champions did the double over us to my recollection, whether it's a "one off year" is yet to be seen, but last season we deservedly finished 5th.
