Arsenal sell song. My 6 year old could of predicted our mid fielders would be linked. Watch out for a spurs link for cabaye now modric deal is complete. Our players might not be worth what we want or them but if clubs don't cough up our valuations for them then that's not our problem. It's why we sign players on 5 year deals to guard against the exact thing. Pay top dollar or forget it.
We don't all hate Ashley, I've always said almost everything he's done as been in the best interest of the club. We could have done a Leeds under FFS and those who deny it are fools IMO
Craas re-writing history again. One minute they are the cockney mafia and ruining the club; then one good season and all of a sudden they are good lads who only mean well. What a set of fickle embarrassing **** Muppet's.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/search.html?s=&authornamef=Simon Jones looks like they want Cabey as well
Are Titty and Cabagge going to lower their ambitions and move to a smaller, less established club like Arsenal though? Over the global giants up at NE1? Surely not?
I don't see Tiote going to Arsenal purely because Wenger won't pay 18 million for him (doubt we'd sell for less as he has 5 years left on his contract). I could possibly see Cabaye going to Spurs now they have 30 million burning a whole in their pocket, but Levy is also notoriously tight when it comes to buying players (see the 11.8 million pound bid for Willian made today) meaning I can't see them bidding upwards of 15 million, also going to Spurs is possibly only a sideways step at the moment depending on who else they buy.
Cabbage would dump the skunks like a shot to play in a proper team with history and a chance of winning things.
Both in the same european competition, we have a better keeper, they have a more solid back four (and more depth in defence). We have a stronger central midfield, they are better on the wings and our strike force is better. We also have a settled manager who has already implemented his style of play where as they are going through transition. As I said though, if they go and spend the Modric money on the right player(s) then you'd have to say they'd definitely be the stronger team/squad...they also have a similar wage structure to us so his contract wouldn't massively improve.
The idea of us and the spuds stealing Newcastle's CM's is really funny actually. We get Tiote, the spuds get Cabaye, the toon get 13th place at best.
Far Funnier. We lost 1 guy who was going at the end of his contract anyway, you'd lose 2 with long contracts, who are part of the reason you finished 7th last season.
It was 5th fella, without RVP you'd have finished 10th as you have no goals in you (as proven by your first two games). You had no goal threat at all yesterday.
We finished 5th. The players you have lost over the past couple of years is ridiculous. That's not funny, it's tragic.
