Work permit would be a formality, he's a regular international so he'd meet the criteria, no need to appeal or anything. They're usually turned around pretty quickly at deadline time too.

Apparently we've flown medical people to Italy to do his medical. He won't be able to come over for a few days while his visa stuff goes through. Should certainly be done in time for the deadline though.

Okay then so he's not either in the country or flying in today as some suggested? I reckon this will go through on Thursday.

Impossible yet as only the 2k who went to the Etihad can buy them and just under 3k are available for the Arsenal game. There will be a scrap amongst ST holders for at least 1k tickets on Tuesday morning.
