I don't think we'll leave it that late this time... we have been linked with a host of players and nothing is certain yet though. I also think that its important that we focus on getting rid of deadwood this week. Park rumoured to be going to Celta Vigo... Bendtner still needs a buyer, why is Squillaci still at the club, Arshavin should be going to Zenit. We need to get rid of these players ASAP.
 
I would personally sleep through the last week of the transfer window and just wake up Saturday and read what happened, if i had a choice.

What we need is a much better, quicker passer than Diaby. Diaby does not pass the ball, he just gets rid of it when he realizes he can not dribble or shoot or just does not know what to do with it. M'Vila actually fits the bill with his number of passes last season.
 
Wenger must know something about m'vila that we don't. He's exactly the kind of player we need, we've been linked wioth him for years, price is about right, he's pretty much said he would like to play for arsenal, yet Wenger still keeps looking at other options

I just think we do not want to pay over £10-11 ml, and Rennes are holding for 20 ml EUROs. That's probably why he demonstrably shows no interest. I would not be surprised by the last minute £11 ml take it or leave it bid.
 
If you want to win things you sometimes have to pay slightly over the odds, every other big club in the world does it
 
I would go as high as 18 million for M'Vila. Like people have said, quality player who is exactly what we need. He's the Arsenal mould.
 
Well Tottenham have put in a bid for him according to BBC. Looks like we miss out again!

If we were interested then we would have got him by now, he basically said he wanted to join us and the price is not that high. Wenger clearly knows something about him with all his contracts in France, and does not feel that he is good enough.
 
Spurs going for him doesn't even make sense though. Modric out, VDV supposedly out, Mvila in? With Sandro and Parker already there...


Could be just a way to increase the fee for us.

Well if we are after M'vila as a dm, who is the player Dick Law is negotiating for in Germany? (rumours)

Why would Fulham accept a 6m bid for Dembele? Comeon.

Just because United got out bid doesn't mean a club is 'hijacking' the player.

Do they actually have Dembele then? Hijacked actually means he's their player now if they gazumped Man United for him. Just saying. I would love to have Dembele at Arsenal as well btw.
 
Dembele does look class though.

Still I do think m'vila would be a great addition to our squad. Wenger is hesitant because of his attitude.
