Anyone know if there are many left? I should be getting mine Saturday but wondered if it was worthwhile getting before hand? Anyone know how many we are taking also?

We've been given 1,800 (the upper tier). I'd aim to be sat at the back of it as well. Apparently when it's home fans in the lower tier and away in the upper they've had to have several rows of seats unused at the front. So they can have them open for the last few games they've got some sort of scaffolding up to provide a barrier. I don't know how far it sticks out from the front of the stand but obviously those further back in the stand will have less chance of it restricting their view.

According to the ground guide the upper away only holds 1,200, with the full allocation of upper and lower being a total of 2,500.

I'm going with the QPR fans from when we were talking about the Leeds game. At the time they were saying they thought the away end as a whole held 3,100 (with 200 lost to blankets if home fans are in the lower tier) and that it was an 1,800/1,300 split.

Leeds were then given about 1,800

EDIT: QPR OWS says it takes just under 3,400. Upper tier holds 1,723, plus if required the lower tier is opened and holds 1,417 (with 116 restricted view in the upper and the front rows of the lower availlable only with the safety officer's consent)

It would seem the footballgroundguide.com are not very accurate when it comes to QPR's away end!
