I don't think I've seen him play, so having learnt my lesson with Leon Cort I've got no opinion on it yet. I don't tend to go by what fans say about players unless I know the people, there's too many people who can't step back from their own team and judge the attributes of the player as an individual without considering their part in the team's results. (eg Brady with us last year)
Rosenior left Reading in strange circumstances didn't he? Elmo doesn't seem to have fallen out with anyone at Sunderland, he's just leaving. Obviously I hope they're all wrong but not having any positive reports about him is a bit worrying for me.
According to Bruce we were never in for him, so apparently SkySports must have lied. Elmo had a decent start at Sunderland if I remember rightly, he'd be great for us.
Why we haven't gone for Ivan Klasnic is beyond me! Still a free agent; must be on less wages then Campbell; scores goals when you need him to and that's in the Premiership so I think would do a hell of a job in this league. Why not? Plus there's Ferrie Bodde out there who was decent for Swansea at this level and could be a good squad player (e.g. if Roko or Aluko get tired) Still one or two decent free agents out there. Sign them up before someone else does.
Isn't it probably some joke about the sign George Boyd campaign? Not that I get the joke from changing his name to Glen and saying hes from Carniny Rangers.
Actually scratch that he's probably another young irish lad coming across to the youth team/development squad.

We're probably not one of them, but if not, why not (on loan rather than perm) ? http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/8027619/Five-clubs-chasing-Spearing If he's willing to go to Bolton on loan I don't see why he wouldn't be willing to come to us. He's better than championship standard, but probably not good enough for Liverpool and in my opinion would make a great impression at this level. Also he hasn't had a major injury unlike Meyler.
Haha when you put it like that I suppose you have a point, although I think the pace is relating more to a winger. I just felt that although Mckenna cleans up in our midfield, we still require someone with a bit of bite and who likes to get stuck in. I think he would add a bit more purpose to the midfield rather than prettiness. Also the daily mail are quoting Bolton are in fact trying to get him on a perm for 3 million, so probably a non starter.

Bit of a funny one our midfield, were too defensive as it is. We all like our hardmen midfielders and Mckenna doesnt quite fit that description but i think another defensive player is the last thing we need when were struggling for goals, trying to think of a good box to box midfielder who can tackle and score, pretty hard to come by, Neil Danns maybe? Tunnicliffe springs to mind, but id like to see us go ultra attacking and bring George Boyd in either that or play Aluko and Koren either side of Mckenna or evans and have two proper strikers up top.
But we have attacking talent already, a good defensive midfielder would get rid of the need for McKenna and Evans to play together and allow Koren to come back central in a 4-4-2 and give him and the other attackers more of the freedom they need to move forward and be creative knowing they have a good solid defender behind them capable of soaking up most the pressure on his own. 2 sides to the coin.
Also just been reliably informed were after a pair of Brightons youth team , Ben Dover and Phil McCrackin.
