Let's just agree that the spurs fans on here, many of whom will be on the list, season ticket holders, members, intelligent etc etc know more about it than a couple of wumming Chelsea fans. Good
Should've replied to the OP early, but season ticket pricing for WHL is unusually hard to come by, for some reason. The price difference between the cheapest non-discounted seats and the most expensive seems to be enormous, literally more than doubling. Anyone got a proper list, as the OS doesn't seem to have one, since it updated? West Ham need a smaller stadium, DL.
Just pointing out that it is easy to be on a list but it is far less easy to actually come up with some cash to prove it....and the scousers were only asked for a fiver
Everyone on the list is paying £57 or £62 per season to stay on it. We have a whole other lot of members, not on the list who are paying £42 to £57. I quite like our system, as I can't organise my life around getting to WHL on the off-chance I am lucky enough to get a ticket, so it would be impossible for me to qualify for a season ticket based on attendance. But if I finally get a chance to get one (I'm at 9,600 ish after five years) I would certainly use it to the full. As for this nonsense about our tickets 'being on general sale' this is only a handful of season ticket holders using the facility to resell. We are sold out for every game.
I never quite understand why people feel the need to quarrel over ticket sales. Surely in today's economic climate, it's not unreasonable for people not to be able to afford tickets ?? Prices are sky high and for fans to mock other clubs for failing to sell out, is a cheap shot in my opinion. For what it's worth, Spurs' tickets for the home games against WBA and Norwich have both gone to general sale, and I see no shame on us admitting this. It's a national thing, not a Spurs thing. People haven't got the money anymore.
3 years ago I decided that I wanted a season ticket so I upgraded from Lilywhite to Bronze. I started at about 32,000 on the season ticket list and the following season I only went up to 31,200. However, last year I went up to around the 17,800 mark so I guess that the recession has meant that a quite a few people have pulled out. However, I'm not really hopeful that I will get a season ticket until we get a new stadium.
I explained the situation and it doesn't tally with your thoughts. There is a waiting list and it consists of Bronze members, some of whom might not take the offer up, and some might. I suspect as others that you are doing some wumming here, as it's obvious to anyone who understands the situation that we have a long waiting list for STs. Anyway, I've exlained the situation as have others, if you want to think that proves your point, fine. I've nothing more to say on the matter to your good self.
