I would imagine City will look to sign Olofinjana from you guys. He's scored some really important goals for us this season and although he's gone through a few dodgey spells for the most part he's been great. What sort of transfer fee do you think we'd be looking at? I understand he's on pretty big money as well!
How has Gerrard been doing for you guys this season? It's a shame we loaned him out because he was always fully committed although a little prone to mistakes, it was his first season at this level so he was just learning. I think there was some off the field issue which lead to his loan, I guess if we're promoted we'll probably look to offload him.
Personally i do rate him yes and could see him in our XI next season - but on his current wages the way Pearson is going i dont see him featuring and we can bring in 4/5 of the Pearson type player in for the same price. To be honest all i want next season is Gerrard on a perm. I love him.
To be fair, we haven't seen that much of him. We paid ã3m for him, with a ã28k a week wage, then didn't start him in the majority of games. If we could get a swap with Gerrard, I'm sure we'd be happy with that, there will only be a fee issue if someone else comes in for him.
He is the kind of player fans love to see, never scared to get stuck in!! Glad you guys are showing him a bit of love, I know pretty much everyone down here felt the same way! He got a really good reception earlier in the season when we played you down here, but I don't think we'll see him in a Cardiff shirt again. Now do me a favour guys, make sure you beat QPR for us when you play 'em, ever the optimist I haven't given up on winning the league yet!!
You don't happen to know how long he has to run on his contract do you? I know he signed in 2009, so if it was a standard 3 year deal, I assume he only has one season to run on it?
Sorry I'm not sure, imagine it's the standard three years though! I doubt you'd have to pay much for him though, we only paid 250k!
