Doesn't help those of us who couldn't get it, even if we ever wanted to.

Nearly every article on the website ends 'For more, get today's Mail'. I'm 250 miles away, can someone tell how, if I wanted to get it, I could?

I would complain but I can't be bothered...

make a list of things posters on here the other sites don't like. remove all emotive bit. remove all adjectives referring to quiality. you may use words like "disappointed". you might also mention that there is a long history of the paper writing positively about rl and negatively about city especially so about the bahvoiour of the fans. point out that there are rl message boards where fans regularly compain about the behaviour of hull and hkr fans but nothing makes the paper. mention our disappointment with the existence of pc downs who has a blind spot and shoulder chip against city and fans and in favour of rl. mention that we cannot understand why plod turns up for games as if ww3 is about to kick off when the manc plod manage huger crowds with almost no visible plod. why does that not get questioned by the hdm? theres a lot to ask about but you need to do it in an almnost disinterested way.

while we can sympathise about nobody at hcfc wanting to talk to them it comes as utterluy no surprise after all the garbage over the years. it cant be that hard for them to find a football writer who also supports city.

as much i enjoy taking the mickey out of rugby league, and 17,699 being a number which will keepo me smiling to the grave...i dont really have a problem with them having most the coverage on Derby week, 9 times out of 10 the back page story is City related, even if one of the rugby teams is playing that night...

That would be just as bad but for the opposite reasons. The problem is the writing seems to be being done by an FC fan or a Leeds fan when it should be done by a neutral.

End of the day, why shouldn't they run a piece about Leeds? I'm sure a significant section of the paper's readership supports Leeds or is at least affected by the happenings at the club. And yes that includes Hull fans who are looking to overtake us in the table. The rugby thing's annoying though, must be irritating to be a football fan in a city of that nature.

Good points and some I've often raised in e-mails to RH and the Fail, especially regarding the biased reporting on ay trouble at City and FC games and the attitude of Inspector Pantsdown.
Getting an answer is a different matter of course.

If they're going to do that they should do the same for Forest, Burnley, oh and us. Although they did do the comparison piece a few weeks back, why they couldn't just update that and expand on the 4 teams now that the likes of Leicester and Watford look like extreme longshots for it.

"Significant" in an "unable to fill a minibus" according to TWS website kind of way? What a nugget you are, very few people give a **** about Leeds, it's just gobshites that get up folks noses.

As for HDM, it's easier to attract attention by being ****e than it is to attract attention for being even semi decent, so they take the easy route and get talked about on message boards and increase the HDM hit count, which is the only fact they're that bothered about.

Can't argue with any of that.

TWS support round here has faded to almost nothing, there's absolutely no justification for any Leeds story to be published in our local rag, if it were not for the fact that Nick Wood was a Leeds fan, it never would be. It's a disgrace that the paper didn't see that and edit the article, it would be no different to a Leeds paper running a Hull City play off article.

I don't doubt that the website hit count is a priority, it now drives all the advertising rates, but to be fair, I think thing this is far more about incompetence than any organised plan to drive traffic through the site.

I'm sure you're right. I just struggle to get my head around how a paper can be so consistently crap and hypocritical.

If they put as much effort into being journalists as they put into kicking Hull and Hull City I could even consider buying one again. A decent rag would be looking into issues like the scandalous waste of resources due to the incompetent methods Police use for Public Order in general and in particular at football. Remind plod they're public servants and that football fans and hooligans are not the same thing and that respect and public support needs to be earned, it doesn't come with the uniform.

When they call me tomorrow, I will push them to do a piece on the policing of games, including the harassment of our Dutch friends.

If anyone else has anything else they'd like me to suggest as stories to be investigated, then by all means let me know.

Assuming we make the playoffs they should run a piece comparing our current side and season with the one when we won promotion in 2008.

Firstly, it is possible to be a Leeds fan without going to games. And with a lot of the Hull based Leeds fans not living right next to Elland Road, they might still want news updates from their local paper even if they don't make many games. Aside from that, every single home game there's a 70 seater coach in the bus bays which comes from Hull. There's also the East Yorkshire branch of the (independent) Supporters Club which doesn't park in the bays reserved for official regional members coaches.

So I'd like to see this bit about not being able to fill a minibus because that's news to me.

On the topic of Policing, I know a lot of people have issues with that stupid fence and the chaos it causes at the Southern end of the ground and others have issues with the horses emptying on the walkways pre-match, but my issue's is with them allocating Officers to bung up the vomitaries, glaring at people when they can see or hear very little and won't go in even if they did. I have asked them what their instructions had been at the briefing, but all I discovered was that IQ needs to be way below average to become a Police Officer.

Reality in general sounds like it'd be news to you.
Originally it was the Hull Whites web site, but they had to merge it with the East Yorkshire one due to a lack of interest. Easy enough to find. If you mattered I'd post the link for you.
