Does anyone have an argument why FFP wont work bar the same tired old ones...

1. Clubs will just find loopholes - No they wont <ok>
2. It will make big clubs richer and small clubs poorer - ORLY? I dont think so, smaller clubs wanted this as much if not more than the bigger clubs. Even going as far as to make the regulations even stricter.
3. Uefa wont kick big clubs out - erm..... yeh they will......this would be the same Uefa who suspended English clubs from europe right?
4. Money clubs will just pay Uefa off - Ah yes, I mean this wouldnt get noticed would it and have the entire football world goijg mad because a club bribed uefa. Never going to happen.

Anymore?

1. Firstly, you can lose €45m euros during MP1, 2, 3
First loophole: you can write off exceptionals
Second loophole: you can write off wages/fees agreed preAugust 2010 for initial Monitoring Periods.

You have very little understanding of FFP.

3. No this is not the same Uefa. It is run by different people now and the game has changed

Yeh........they are not loopholes. They are part of the guidelines and give clubs ample chance to sort themselves out...

I have a pretty decent understanding thanks, its really not that hard <ok>

It is the same uefa............ they still hate english clubs <ok>

UIR, there's a reason smaller clubs find it incredibly difficult to get bigger, and it's simply money. If they don't have it they can't buy players as Chelsea, Man City ,PSG and the Russians are currently doing. if they don't buy players, they don't win things, don't increase earnings, fan base or any of the other things that go with consistent results.
The big clubs already have everything they need for continued success, the small clubs don't. It's a tough world, and the market rules. Anyone attempting to buck this trend has failed miserably, including the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer on the now infamous Black Friday.
The FFP will come in with the status quo intact and is so doomed to failure. As you concede , virtually all the big Clubs will comply, so who's going to make the break through to the top ranks because of these new rules ???
Just can't for the life of me see the point. If you can't compete, that's life, in work, play, love and football.
They have had salary caps imposed in Aussie Rules for 20 years, in Rugby League and Rugby as well, and recently in Football.
Still the top teams are tops and the also rans still running, absolutely no change in rankings whatsoever, because it just doesn't work.

Incorrect: the 45m euro loss was part of the initial 2009 guidelines.
Writing off wages agreed pre2010 was an addendae and a loophole added subsequently
Writing off exceptionals (not confirmed yet) is a expected loophole.

You know nothing about FFP. And have not even read the document. You could not even spell it til last week.

Your take on FFP before we educated you was, 'My mate Dave down the pub says Chelsea will be screwed when FFP comes in.'

Seondly, it is not the same Uefa.
The UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) is headed up by a Portuguese judge, and the Investigatory Chamber is run by a Belgian politician: they do not have a Uefa background at all. Similarly the adjucatory board and investigatory board have a background in judiciary and politics rather than football.
YOu really don't know what you are talking about at all. Stop embarrassing yourself and give up

This is why I won't debate with him on it. I'm not willing to engage in debate with people who aren't well informed on Factual evidence like this

Yeh....

The fact you questioned Uniteds ability to pass DL showed you knew nothing about FFP.

Londons Ec, how the hell did I misspell FFP. Unless you mean when I was taking the piss out of someone and calling it FNP ( friday night posse )?

The fact you come out and say I know what I know because a bloke down the pub told me chelsea are ****ed sort of shows why I am right because not once have I said chelsea are ****ed but that they would pass.

Anyway care to explain how I was wrong to say they were part of the guidelines? I mean I am confused because you say they are not....... and then say they are. Which is it? Are they or are they not part of the guidelines?

Anyway I like the edit LOECW. It took you 38 minutes on google to find that information didnt it. Educating me hahahahahahaha <laugh>

Maybe if you read up on FFP (other than The Sun) and edited your posts, you would not embarrass yourself so regularly on this forum.

This debate is getting far too intellectual for me! I think I might have an early night and read a couple of chapters of" 50 shades of grey" before I nod off ! Nighty night!

Yeah me too. Wtf is 50 shades of grey? Sounds like the black and white minstrels. Only all mixed up.

District may log in and say I'm completely wrong but the point appears to be that when Chelsea (or City) spend a bomb, uninformed people claim it's against FFP without a clue whether it is or not and when United do so those same uninformed souls don't see an issue.

Whether or not United are breaking the FFP rules isn't what he's getting at.

Given he's at a reasonable university doing a semi-difficult degree, I'd hazard a guess he's brighter than you.
He-he!!!

No you lose!

He certainly does! UIR sounds like the school bully who's just been found out, given a good hiding and turned into a squeeling pig, help! help! FFP those nasty boys at City and Chelsea have taken all our trophies, it's not fare! He never goes to a game, what a F*****g Tosser!
