Per chiudere il club inglese deve sborsare subito 15 milioni oppure pagare una maxirata e dilazionare nel tempo altri 5-7 milioni. Sounds dead to me, Rupert Lowe would have brought him by now. But if it does pay off, can we play him CB as I heard he is fast?

The situation could be dead but how did you arrive at that from that post. If the Bologna Chairman is willing to interrupt his holiday, all parties must be serious. The problem will be either it is too hot for us or another club step in and turn his head.

Both problems that easily can be, and probably will be, worked out today.
It does make you wonder why football negotiations take so long. Surely you could thrash this out with a 15 minute phone call?
What's the odds Cortese takes the Bologna president out tonight, wines and dines him, schmoozes him like all Italian businessmen and clinches the deal soon?
exactly what i was saying to my mate yesterday, surely if they know what the deal is, it can be easily sorted....... provided we agree with it. The fact they have flown over today I assume its either going to happen very quick or not at all. cant see them flying over here to sort if it isnt literally a done deal !!!! No way they would then go all the way back to Italy to then mull over emails and phone calls !!!
