Optimism isn't my thing, as the first game really doesn't mean anything much.
If we had lost, no doubt fans would be saying "where have we gone wrong" "no promotion this season" and "who was a waste of money in the summer"
I agree that we should all trust Nigel, and hope that it does turn out to be like the 2002 season, i think Pearson above all others has something to prove and is the most determined to get Leicester promoted, its a better philosophy than our rival manager yesterday, Ferguson, who would be hoping for a finish around 18th, having spent little to no money in the summer.
The hard tests are yet to come imo, we will get a clearer idea of our promotion chances when we are up against another team aiming for the top 6/automatic slots, i wonder if the same enthusiasm will be seen after the Blackburn game. Blackburn, Blackpool and Wolves games are going to shape our season imo.

Didn't we win the first 2 games last season against Cov and Rotherham. Look how that turned out! Still the midfield is looking much better so let's hope for some consistency and who knows
