Pretty unlikely that Blackpool wouldn't be swayed, but I guess you never know. They weren't awful. They just couldn't score which isn't really surprising.

 

Nah they were pretty awful. Didn't control the game at all against a team they really should be beating.

 

And who is to blame for that? Create good chances, and Podolski will put them away. Instead they were limited to a couple of long range shots from Cazorla, and obviously Gervinho and Walcott weren't creating anything. Why doesn't Wenger just play a 4-4-2 already?

It really doesn't look far better than what we've got. I don't think any teams will fear Arsenal this season, and I think we've got a great chance of beating them at home. Still, I'm sure it'd be best for Arsenal if they could at least come up with a system that doesn't require Gervinho and Giroud to start. They just don't look good.

The thing is people could actually come onto this forum, see your comment, and conclude that the Ramirez deal is off, when actually you were "just thinking aloud". It's not cool that you might mislead people like that.
