I wasn't having a go at you at all, more so of the 'Pool fans on our board, already worrying about the fact we lost our fist game when we still have 37 to go. It's still very clear that we need a striker. And I don't think BR has done much wrong tbh, he's giving the fans what they want to hear and he's definitely a positive person, deals with the media well. Now we have to start performing on the pitch ... Starting from next week <ok> <laugh>

we should keep very quiet at the moment. we've got a tough game coming up, and after all it's the first game of the season. there's already been a few surprises!!

Poor AVB, for weeks he's been leading the sack race, and now Rodgers jumps in to the lead. Here's hoping you make a catastrophe of the Newcastle game, i'm sure Boas would want that too.

No, but both managers have a huge job, and Hughes puts himself under massive pressure by walking around as if he is the next fergie.
 
Well we lost. as I thought we would, and all manner of Arsenal, Chelea and West ham fans were delighted with the result - Thank you ENIC, not!
 
lol GHoddle.....i do understand your sentiment and your an old schooler so i respect the fact that you have been there where we did not play second fiddle so much.....i wish ENIC would spend more..but i am also glad that we do not break our own backs.

Fair comment s SL, it breaks my heart to see Spurs so far behind Chelsea these days. But hey, life goes on.
