A club half a billion in debt now spend the best part of £80m on an injury prone 29 year old.

But that's okay apparently...

Hm.

I wouldn't cry "wolf" too loudly, if I were you, Chelsea boys.

For the record...

Debt isnt used in FFP, its of no concern.

How much clubs make however is, and wage bills, and spending over fixed periods of time.

To summarise for you DL.... We make plenty, we pay within our means and our spending over the past few years compares with one of romans legendary shopping sprees in a single summer.

Hope that helps <ok>

It's unlike you to miss the point entirely and appear thick in the same post...

Oh there was a point was there?

What was it then? Perhaps he was wondering how United can complain about the spending of others and then go spend £15-24million on RVP?

Or was it something else? Do tell

District may log in and say I'm completely wrong but the point appears to be that when Chelsea (or City) spend a bomb, uninformed people claim it's against FFP without a clue whether it is or not and when United do so those same uninformed souls don't see an issue.

Whether or not United are breaking the FFP rules isn't what he's getting at.

Given he's at a reasonable university doing a semi-difficult degree, I'd hazard a guess he's brighter than you.

erm...

what is the issue then? I simply must know <ok>

Do you want me to just copy and paste the above post?

If you must.

Can I ask you a question first? I will assume I can....

Is £15million possibly £17million, or £22million, or £24million but no higher alot of money compared to a number of transfers already made this summer, last summer and many summers before?

No reason just wondering what your feelings are.

Anyway what have chelsea spent this summer? Hazard £34million?. What are the other fees paid?

We have spent £17million ( once its all actually paid ) on Kagawa, £15-24million on RVP. £4million on Henriquez and Powell £6million ( total value not what we paid )

Obviously not, though that's again missing the point of the thread.
