I think he sees it as an opportunity to have some playing time before coming back to Madrid. He will have more playing time with Liverpool. When Wilshere is back thre wll be tough competition for a place in Arsenal midfield. And bearing n mind it is just a loan and an option to sign him depends on his willingness to stay ( which I doubt as he is a Real player) - Wilshere will be a priority to Wenger.
 
I don't think Wenger would take him on loan, without an option to buy, unless we were desperate, say if Song left. We don't want him to be a key part of the team and then have him leave next year.

That may be the problem, Liverpool probably are willing to take him whatever.
 
If Sahin goes to Liverpool, it shows that he doesn't have the right mentality and we should look elsewhere.

<laugh> no it shows he wants to win something. When was the last time Arsenal won a trophy? Surely sahins mentality should be questioned if he in fact chose his club soley on the fact that they were in the CL <doh>

To any other Liverpool fan that comes on here, this gentleman encapsulates the reason all other teams fans think you are a joke, pure comedy gold at its finest.

And you're saying Liverpool have better chances at winning trophies than us? Right.....Let me guess, you also think Liverpool are still one of the big competitive teams in England right? And that you're a top 4 club, with great prospects of winning the Premier League and Champions League?

You're a top 8 team now, no longer a top 4 team, not even a top 6 team any longer, that's how far back you have regressed.

You make it sound as if the only advantage Arsenal have over Liverpool is Champions League football.

I don't think 'top 8' is the correct terminology. I think mid table sounds better.
 
Well lads, surely that just makes your club even more pathetic then considering tello and sahin would rather join a "mid-table" club than you failures.

And who told you that re Sahin? From what I have been reading, some say he might go to Liverpool and others report that he might go to Arsenal, it's still not very clear. Also why the **** would we want Tello? Not ONE single credible source has said that we have shown any serious interest in Tello.

You must realize that no one would rather join Liverpool than Arsenal at this point. It might change if your results improve, but as it stands Sahin and Tello will only join Liverpool if Arsenal don't want them. Lately, it really has been a career killer, to go and play for Liverpool.

Any decent player has had to get out before reigniting their career.
