He cannot even maintain a sustainable conversation about how good/poor his alleged 'world class' defender is/was. Rio was part of a very successful team. For me, the amount of silverware obtained by Utd was not down to single players but the ability of Fergie to get thebest out of the team as a unit! If you take apart the Utd team you can pick off their weaknesses but as a unit, they are compact, disciplined and precise. Only a few players have been truly world class and they have moved on to bigger and better clubs. Ronaldo, RVN, Beckham. The rest in all honesty (And this is merely my opinion) have not really shown any individual talent. It shows the class when you consider Valencia to be your most creative player (UIR these were pretty much your words)
