So you are making the assumption that a contract was signed between the two parties, without actually knowing if there was one, based purely on the fact that a media outlet announced there was one.

I'm pretty sure the media don't have access to view contracts of any clubs.

I'm basing it on a few sources, not all emanating from Swansea.

What are you basing your opinion that there was no contract on?
Faith?

If there was a contract, surely Liverpool wouldn't be able to attain Allen due to Rodgers being his previous manager, even if there is a release clause.

The burden of proof isn't for me to prove there is no contract, it falls on you to prove there is one.

The fact there is no green light next to your name and you are not listed as viewing points towards the fact that you had run away.

Perhaps you should force your owners to apologise for putting a release clause in a contract of a player you clearly don't want to leave.

The board of directors at my club are doing the best job in the whole of English football, possibly World football....which is why we manage to take the Yank twats at your club to the cleaners.

Go away and meditate on what a prize dipshit you are.

What a bellend, "taken to the cleaners" how so? Because we paid £15m for your best player. Swansea soon to be circling the drain to the Championship.

Well here's the thing...as we are signing JA there's either a good solid contract between the two clubs that we can't break other than with a release clause etc...in which case we are doing nothing wrong. Scenario two is that there is no real contract and HJ is just pushing all blame on to BR. Scenario 3 is that there was a contract but it isn't legally binding (gentlemans agreement) which really makes HJ a tad naïve and BR a bit of a naughty boy <ok> Either way I get the feeling if BR wants to raid your squad again there will be ways and means for him to do it :)

Now initially I really didn't want him to go and buy all your players but after a few weeks having to suffer the gnashing of teeth and crying from some of your lot...I hope he keeps buying your best players just to piss you off even more <whistle>

None of us know the details of the agreement.

None of us know what BR and HJ said, or how JA was approached - if he was.

99.9% of managers take players from their former clubs or that they have worked with before.

Call the police!

By the way, has any of you actually "seen" any contract agreed by LFC or any of the club's staff ever?

Do you honestly expect me or anyone else to post an image of or a link to a legally binding contract made between 2 private enterprises.
Shall I go through all of your threads demanding to see hard evidence regarding any assertion any of you make?

For ****'s sake, this isn't a court of law! It's somewhere people come to talk about football!

If there was a "legally binding" contract that Rodgers couldn't sign Swansea players don't you think by now Jenkins would have said so and be taking legal action against Rodgers/LFC and that the FA would be on the case?

Purely conspiracy theories.

Don't be confusing the dickhead with reasoned thoughts on the matter.

Swansea City's wage bill = £17.4 million (this included the bonuses paid out for the previous season's promotion)
Swansea's squad was assembled for £11 million
We topped the Cost Effective League Table by several country miles.

Liverpool's wage bill= about £130 million isn't it?
Liverpool's squad cost = £178 million
Position in value for money table = 18th

Yet we won 4 points out of 6 last season.

Our revenue streams are increasing dramitically Liverpool's are shrinking.

We've just sold Liverpool Brendan and Pascoe for £7 million and Allen for £15 million.

We've replaced with Laudrup for free and De Guzman (loan with option to buy at aprox. £6 million)

I consider your management to be incompetent and taken to the cleaners, don't you?

Have we got any details on this yet?

Edit:Just read the rest of the thread and as I thought timidtwat has no clue whatsoever.

On the 8/8/12 at 8.39 pm you posted:

BBC are so slow with everything now, part of the problem of not having enough journalists.

Can you give me detailed analysis of the BBC's sports department, how many journalists do they employ exactly? What are their responsibilities? How do they compare with other media outlets?

If not, shut the **** up about needing hard evidence you ****ing hypocrite.

Hear that guys, Liverpool's revenue stream is shrinking...Our £20m a season sponsor contract and our £25m kit contract are gone!

Not to mention our wage bill has gone down with the departure of Maxi, Aqualani and Kuyt, I can see us being the new Rangers.

Epic swerve attempt <ok>

...But back to this contract you know so much about....I'm still waiting for the EXACT details you have all this concrete info on <ok> I presume I probably shouldn't hold my breath...right??

The reason why you sold those players and have brought in 2 former Swans on less money is precisely because you were on the path to becoming the new Rangers.

We sold those players because Maxi wanted out, Aqualani was never really here and Kuyt was aging. For a Liverpool expert, you seem to know **** all.

Yet still to see your proof of this magical contract stating that Rodgers can't sign Swansea players.
