If anything its overcrowded because nobody knows about contraception, but thats another topic entirely!

I personally haven't met Wayne Brown so I cannot justify saying he is thick, but sadly a lot of very clever people have also supported that cause in the past. Luckily we cannot put Nick Griffin into that category or there might be some more.

Perhaps until we get contraception under control, we should stop allowing people to come and settle here for a few years?

I never actually asked him if he was pissed, so I'm afraid I can't answer that, but he's certainly not stupid, he's bright, articulate, humorous, he's really rather good company.

If we're talking about players I've met socially, that are thick, uneducated scumbags, I'm afraid your mate Jimmy tops the list.

    Closely followed by ***an.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think in common parlance, Agro may be referring to folk from the historic county of Humberside actually

When I was doing the interviews for Kisser magazine, I did interviews with the ex-players I knew(at least the ones who were prepared to do them), then I was offered an interview with Billy. I did all the interviews in the pub and got pissed with each of them(other than Wayne Brown who was in training and looking for a new club at the time) but I was warned that if I did the same with Billy, he'd probably nut someone, possibly me, so I retired from journalism.

i once asked all of the players in the squad to fill out a pen-profiles questionnaire to appear in the programme. When asked for pet likes and dislikes, one of the afore mentioned (not Billy Whitehurst I might add) indeed answered: '.....cat, dogs and hamsters...' to the former, and '.......modern ones like spiders...' to the latter. True story!!

Not as good as the Stevie G interview, when he was asked what his favourite cheese was and he said 'melted'. <laugh>

Instead of giving me another ridiculously vague answer you could just give me an example of what you mean?

Apparently so. I asked about 6 hours ago, and I still haven't grasped what you mean by 'overcrowding'…

Probably because you haven't bothered explaining it, but still.

It's getting late, can you just admit you've no idea what you meant by it and it's just something you picked up in the Daily Star? It'll be less stress for both us.

As much as i dont agree with BNP but Wayne Brown did nothing wrong by voting for them. Its his right to vote for who he wants to, he just went about it the wrong way by broadcasting it in training. He should have just kept his mouth shut

But the rest is history, Alex Bruce came in and ****ed up our chances in the play offs by giving away a stupid penalty

    A dictionary definition, brilliant.

Could you explain what you mean though in the context of Britain as a country being 'overcrowded' though? I mean, it's not like any of us step on the street and struggle to breathe because there's too many people is it?

Could you at least give an example of such 'overcrowding' and how it's having a detrimental effect on Britain?

I've never really met anyone with your viewpoint so I'm genuinely interested.

I'd suggest that overcrowding was the wrong word to use, as it makes people think(as you've just suggested) that it's an issue of there not actually being enough room. There is the an issue with overcrowding in the classic sense, but only really in London, where there are more people than houses, so flats are tiny, house prices are ridiculous and people have to move out of London(20% of people who work in London, now live outside London and have to commute over an hour).

But the real issue with the amount of people living in the country, is simply the fact that we can't afford to support them all. In 2010, the population grew by 1.4m, which was 30% of the total population growth across all of Europe and our population is expected to hit 70m by about 2025. People are getting older, we can't afford to fund them, we can't afford to fund the new schools required, we can't afford the healthcare, we're using up too many of our green areas building houses and even then the average 3 bed house built last year was smaller than the recommended minimum size, to get as many properties as possible on as small an area as possible.

There is definitely an issue with the population being too large now, not enough of the population are contributing and it's only going to get worse.

London is overcrowded Ill give you that. Sadly, where there is money, people follow. And yes its a dump for the most part (mussieredhat).

A lot of the immigration figures look pretty bad, but a lot of them are also viewed incorrectly - a huge amount of doctors/nurses come in under those figures for example. The difficult part is separating the war torn refugee from the criminal gang element. People will always migrate for the prospect of a better life (or to eat all our swans according to the right wingers).

Sorry for prolonging a painful thread!

    wow. an acknowledgement!

The annoying part of all this is that the powers that be continue to laud this S H I T H O L E (see Alan Partridge) as a 'wonderful place'. I ve even seen it called the 'best City in the world'. In reality, it is simply a theme park at the end of the M1 motorway. A tourist trap with a raft of troubles hidden within. In such austere times for instance, why do we continue to keep a boatload of out-of-touch chickens (ie MPs and the Royals) in one of the most expensive places in the world. Surely there are unused industrial units in Widnes or Stockton for instance which would be far more cost effective. And for those who might say that it would cease to be an attraction without either, I d refer you to France, whose royal family and palaces continue to be a bigger nett money earner than ours even though its been gone for centuries.

Once we start to live in the real world, and ignore our media, we can then leave London to the Disney fans and foreign visitors and progress as a country.
