Just got this---- 'Away fans are situated in part of the Micra Wedlock Stand. Usualy ticket allocation is around 2,800 for away supporters. The whole of this stand can be given to away fans, if there is demand, giving an allocation of 5,500.' therefore we should have no problem
i think where going to draw the next 2, and win the last 2..finish on 71 points and look back at the 2-0 lead we lost against leeds with massive regret.. sorry to put a downer on everything, i get the impression people think this saturday is as simple as turning up, and its never that simple, especially with city..
i see that you have city with a goal difference of +13. in which case which team, or teams, are we going to beat by 3 clear goals?
Middlesbrough have picked up form recently but if we play well we will win because I cannot see us conceding more than 1 at most
Middlesbrough- have been poor this season and have got a weak defence also supper matt is in form. QPR- They proved agaist scunny the can slip up, we have a great away record, we can bully taarabt. Palace- Lower league team who will give it their all but quality will show on day. Bristol- Last game of season, got a chance of promotion, do I need to say anymore! Also I have got the last 2 results right, so come on u ULL!
We've looked much better recently, but there's a danger of getting a bit carried away here, we're bound to slip up in a game or two.
Twf'y, a like minded soul from TWS is on the thread Just Falling Short And Gerrard, why don't you go and help him?
if he keeps Preston up from the situation there in, after what he did keeping us up, then getting promoted a year later...i think thats a justifiable statement personally..
we're not in the top 6 yet and we're running out of games. the players have nothing to lose and everything to gain, pearson would have told them this. you could tell by the way we played against donny that we're going all out attack these last few games. there's no point to not give it a go, even if we let in a few goals, just go for it and see what happens.
makes it more frustrating tho , that we didnt take this attitude into home games v millwall, burnley..etc..probably be firmly in the top 6 already..
I'm a little worried about the visit of Middlesborough as they've been scoring goals away from home, and City were more open at the back on Saturday. Hopefully Pearson will find a happy medium between the two, either that or it'll be a goalfest. Back to the original point, I think Phil Brown has done a similar job with Preston as he did for City. When we played them he was still trying to steady them in defence and now he's fixed that they are able to attack more.
