The only time before the final we played a 'full' team was the 2nd leg of the semi against City(they played their full team in both legs)

Whatever. Clutching at straws comes to mind. Even if you did play reserves then it just proves even more than you won the equivalent of the reserve cup.

Although maybe you could keep big andy. If he points his toes a bit more and increases the difficulty of his dives (maybe try a few vs arsenal or man united and try to get a pen this time) then he could be on for big things? Prem clubs also play reserves in the early rounds of the FA Cup(depending on the opposition), are you doubting that's not a 'proper trophy'?
The Emirates Cup is not a 'proper trophy' yet your club and supporters celebrate winning it like it is.
The bottom line is Arsenal's youngsters playing 'pretty' football has won them jack ****, are Arsenal in existence to win trophies or to forever be the bridesmaids and never the bride?
