Wilson,Shelvey,Robinson,Maxi,,Coates,Doni,Flannagan,Spearing,Kelly all played in the earlier rounds. The only time before the final we played a 'full' team was the 2nd leg of the semi against City(they played their full team in both legs)

Prem clubs also play reserves in the early rounds of the FA Cup(depending on the opposition), are you doubting that's not a 'proper trophy'? The Emirates Cup is not a 'proper trophy' yet your club and supporters celebrate winning it like it is.
