Still don't get why they want RVP. They already have the trio of Rooney,Welbeck and Hernandez. Surely it's in CM where they need to a new player?

I've heard they're trying to get Nuri Sahin on loan too. And they also have CL football, like us. And they have a weaker midfield, so he'll be more likely to feature.

are you serious you want rvp? Moura i can understand but what are you going to do with four striker?

Welbeck and Nani are still yet to sign these new contracts so who knows whats gonna happen with them, if we lost out on RVP I dont think many United fans on here would mind in fairness.

i doubt they would mind if you lost out to juv. Going by recent reports you guys take priority over man city though.

Oh god yeah it would be a nightmare if he went to city but if they dont shift any of there strikers (Santa Cruz, Adebayor) and then you will have some of there first choice 4 complaning about a lack of first team football which could cause problems.

And here in lies the problem, while all these clubs, man U, City and Juv would all take RVP, none of them seem to be that bothered if they get him, surely RVP must see this, it almost like they are saying, if we get him great but if we don't who cares. Possibly RVP expected these clubs to push the boat out and go all guns blazing to get him. That is what make that statement he made look even more stupid, do you really want to go somewhere that they are not that bothered about getting you, and leave somewhere like arsenal where he was idolised. This could backfire on him big style, even if he eventually dose go to one of these clubs and wins silverware, everyone wants to be wanted and feel like they belong, for RVP he could be making the biggest mistake of his life, even if he does get a larger wage packet and a winners medal out of it.

anyone else seen the Van der Wiel story? Poor player IMO, Chelsea can have him, they've been chasing him for a while.

I think Juve out of the three clubs really want RVP. He would be a marquee signing for them and he is much better than any of their current forwards. Problems is they do not have the financial clout of the other two clubs that want him.

Juventus are quite a wealthy club or at least they used to be.At one time they were more or less owned by the Agnelli<sic> family who are the same family who own FIAT

After a quick google, Andrea Agnelli is their president, which would imply that the Agnelli family still owns them.
