True. But we did play Nasri when he wanted to leave, so it's not like we have not done it before. Leaving him out of the mini-tour of Germany and then citing 'fitness' issues again is going to be laughable, though.
I don't think you'll ever see RVP in an Arsenal shirt again. The likes of Podolski & Giroud haven't played a game yet and as it stands the Cologne game will be their only chance before the start of the season

Hopefully we can wrap up the cazorla deal, bring in Sahin, and offload RvP before the Koln game. Gives the squad a week to prepare for sunderland then.

I'm still thinking RVP may well change his mind. Its 50/50 in my mind.
We have shown the ambition he was asking for now it's down to wether he's committed to leaving or wether he can see the potential of this squad.

Consider we will be 4-5 ( 5 if u count Wilshere) Quality International players up on a squad that finished third last season.

How many Arsenal fans would have predicted that?

If Carzorla and Sahin happen we will challenge, I'm confident of that.

how many of you would be willing to accept RVP back with open arms if he decides to stay? will the boo boys be out for him?

RVP - World class. Those type of players can get away with that **** thanks to how good they are and their talent just wins over the fans again. Also, booing him or any Arsenal player is outright stupid anyway.

Where the hell are United going to get £50m from? If they can't even afford to get Modric.....

They have a big new crappy Chevrolet sponsorship deal. If it's anything like a proper chevvy, the thing will break down within minutes.

Hope that's not true. As I said before, it will be so hard to take if we sell our best player to Man Utd. From great rivals to potentially selling them our best player.

Still don't get why they want RVP. They already have the trio of Rooney,Welbeck and Hernandez. Surely it's in CM where they need to a new player?

chelsea: hoarding attacking midfielders
manu: hoarding strikers
man city: hoarding strikers
They're obviously trying to emulate the man city blue print to success.....if you can't beat them join them!

Actually, I might be right:

''As of March 31, 2012, we had total indebtedness of £423.3m. Our indebtedness increases the risk that we may be unable to generate cash sufficient to pay amounts due in respect of our indebtedness. It could also have effects on our business."

I'm not too sure about the ongoings of the internal dynamics of Manchester United, but as far as I'm aware, it would be a massive risk to fork out £50 mil?

It's Man U, they can spend whatever they want, be in as much debt as they want, and they'll still survive, they're like Barcelona in that respect. Normal fiscal rules don't seem to apply to them.
