Good luck to him, hope he's well received there. I like crofts and Brighton so wish them nothing but good luck. be good to get Bridcutt coming the other way

I agree, thank you Crofty, I hope it all goes well! Some people say you should never go back, but they seem as pleased to get you back as you are to be going back!

<cheers>

Great for him. A true pro. Deserves a decent move like that. Good luck Crofty! Remember his volleyed goal against Barnsley? [Ooops! This post was a long time in the writing!]

Yep - we all thought this might happen but we should all thank him for his contribution to the promotion from the Championship and his professionalism throughout.

Good luck Crofty and thank you ...

Wanted to add my thanks to Crofts for everything he did for us over the past two seasons. His leaving was as professionally done as everything else about the man and player.

Good luck Crofty<ok>

A massive thanks to him, he was one of our best in the championship. His goals won us the games against Barnsley and Sheffiled United away and gained us a point against Burnley at home.

As Anton said, he's been a victim of the success he helped create. I said at the end of the season he may be one of the ones to go, not because he's a bad player, he's just as good as the day he came to the club, but unfortunately we've bought in better players and he's stayed at the same level of skill and ability he was at when he joined.

He'll be a cracking acquisition for Brighton though and any kids wanting to get into the game should be pointed in his direction to see just how to be a professional footballer. Never complains, never moans, never demands to be the centre of attention. Just gets his head down and plays.

Crofts is a great player, I'm sad to see him go, all part of incrementally improving the quality of the squad but he'll do well at a club he loves so alls well that ends well. Welcome back at NCFC anytime.

Well said. Good luck to both Croftsy and Brighton for next season, hopefully we'll see him again in the Premier League soon. <ok>

Good luck to him he scored some important goals for us, from what I saw of him he looked a bit out of depth at our current level. I wonder who we'll bring in as a defensive midfielder? Bridcutt is a good shout and we were linked to an Ajax player but money and Champions League football might be an issue there.
