Back from Ascot. The 2012 run is over at the 6th attempt, I left the racecourse down. Still free ticket, bar, and lunch makes up for it somewhat. I expect the winner of the 1st to go in again next time out, redressthebalance I think. Travelled oh so well. Nice to see Fulbright went in again (although I wasn't on him this time) - Johnston has had a great day.
Mark Johnston does have the odd good day but if you look at the number of runners he sends out each day you would seriously do you nuts following him religiously....................
The significant thing to note about Mark Johnsons form today is that it's glorious Goodwood next week and up until a while ago he could be relied upon to have good winners at that meeting. This Goodwood will be very good for Johnson and Hannon i predict.
