Well he's on my selection next at York - Jet Away. Meanwhile I've risked a shilling on Bosun Breese next up at Ascot. I hate betting on mis-spelt names but I'm cutting them some slack and hoping that it is spelt that way for some proper reason!
RV - I know where you are coming from - I like the guy just think in a finish against the likes of Fallon / Moore / Buick etc he comes across as a little weak / lacking in strength when it matters that's all.
Good luck Reebok on Jet Away - good chance as Planteur is a N/R and Afsare can be very good or very bad ?? Might Follow Pricewise for a bit of value on Ransom Note and also may do Side Glance (3rd to the King at Royal Ascot in the Queen Anne by 11 lenghts).
It's wide open Day - I quite fancied Barnet Fair too, but there are many here with a chance, and I prefer to just have one to watch for Fran Berry given a 4 day holiday for whip misuse. according to Francombe for hitting the horse down the rib cage. FFS can't he find the arse ????!!!!
Yeah - typical of me to choose the wrong one! Hi Cyc Desperately trying to get back to the big time - 3 consecutive weeks in the bargain basement doesn't sit too well
Well I have Jet Away in the next at York at 7-1 last night - now 3-1 ..... course he still has to win! Wigmore Hall and Asfare look major dangers.
Jet Away was mugged! Nice to see Sri Putra back in the winners enclosure though - well done Roger Varian
RV I was taking the mick - nothing to do with being weak By the way why do you think that he is a good jockey out of curiousity ?? Jet Away was unlucky even though I didn't bet on him. Go on Maureen !!
I just think he is decent Dayo don't mind if he is on a horse I have backed - but don't see it as a huge advantage either
By the way fellas (may be question for Princess) - if you want to obtain current info about a horse and if it is still in training or retired etc - which website /s are useful as when you type in the racing post it is general data and doesn't tell you this info ?? Thanks
Maureen 16's for 2013 1000gns, I don't really do antepost and wouldn't be taking that price, but I thought she won handily enough. I stuck my pin into the Sky Bet cavalry charge and decided on El Viento - good luck if you are punting on this one. Especially if you are on Head Case, sorry Space
Fair enough Rv - not saying he was a bad jockey - just maybe spoilt over the years regarding Henry's stable jockeys = Cauthen / Piggot / Fallon / and people like Eddery / Kinane who rode big race winners for Warren Place - maybe all the top jockeys are taken - if you were Sir Henry would you stick with him as stable jockey or consider someone else ???
