Become members!!!!!

sorry, this will be my last thread post for a long time, but i feel it is important enough for it to be a thread.

The board is quiet but if all the guests become members it will not be!

Support welcome.

Do it- you will have no regrets.....
 
Good shout Romain. The more the merrier.

I know on some other forums there is a sticky thread dedicted to welcoming new members, where they can basically say hello, introduce themselves and test the water.

Feels more welcoming and probably makes 'guests' more inclined to start posting and ultimately become regular members.

Perhaps we should do the same?

Yes welcome thread is essential. I'm trying to badger bait a certain girl into being more forth-coming with her Newcastle views, but she feels the board might be full of pricks like me who might tell her she's wrong! <rofl>

We'll be kind to her. What user name will she be going by, so we can keep a caring eye on her? Make sure she checks in at the new members thread. <ok>

She's one of my friends on here, if you can see them, but I am hoping she comes up with a new username because she's got a couple of favourite players now, but when she made the account she barely understood the offside rule (rest assured, now she's had my enlightened tuition, she is fully oblivious to what offside is... We just look at each other in deranged confusion at what has happened, and look to the guy in the seat next to us, who knows these things... We call him "the Oracle")! I shall of course point her towards the sexy new members thread so everyone can see what she comes up with <ok>
