Another Irish newbie here but been an avid follower of the site for a long time - hail from south of Dublin, Dundrum. Can't get to the Southampton game but well on for an Irish meet up for TV games........

Welcome aboard Poulnabrone. Your username sounds like an Irish word. What does it mean, if anything?

I have a sister who lives in Dundrum. The posh half of the family, of course.

Google it, you'll know it when you see a picture of it.....always liked the name which is Irish but I'm not too keen on its english translation - "The hole of the sorrows"!

my cousin is over for the weekend. he lives in hammersmith and is a season ticket holder.
he's already talked to a few of his mates about us coming over and they said they should be able to organise a meet and greet with stan bowles.
a big QPR pub in the area I think its called terry flynns??? they said we could make that our base pub for the weekend.
1 last thing they won't to see as many flags as possible. if you're coming from Dublin try and get a Dublin flag or a tricolour with the QPR badge and Dublin crest. same for Belfsst Waterford etc.

As Monaghan is my adopted county, the colours are just perfect, blue and white. Really looking forward to it Inke. Bringing my mate who is a Utd fan. Want to show him what a real footie stadium is like. Next week we will finalise the hotel and pub.IMHO the hotel should be in central London. Nothing fancy needed just somewhere central.

I would be entirely unsure that there is such a thing as a 'Belfast Flag'............I'll have to give this some thought.
A collage made of beaten bookies' dockets for Stan perhaps........depicting a 1970's rioter in flares...........perhaps
