Abdoulaye Faye signed on a year's contract - probably as a stand in for Hobbs until he's recovered from injury. Along with the imminent signing of Aluko this looks like another good addition to the squad.
Aluko rejected the transfer of his contract to the newco and left as a free agent. It wont stop the deal but it will slow it down

That article even states he's out of contract - "Aluko only moved to Ibrox in November on a short-term deal until the end of the season, and a number of impressive performances for Gers had seen him linked with several other clubs." It makes no difference anyway, there claims have no legal grounding and they won't even bother attempting any action for an out of contract player they'd only had for six months.
