.....here we go. First, who`s oil is it ? Why do you assume that the majority of Welsh and Scots want independence ?

I'm not sure why it's disrespectful not to sing the national anthem. I don't particularly agree with the message of it, considering that I'm not the biggest fan of the Royal Family, and I don't believe in a God, so I probably wouldn't be too keen on singing it in their position either. They should abolish the tradition of singing anthems before games if people are going to get so riled up about such an insignificant thing. Isn't the simple fact that they're playing for their country good enough?

The Welsh have a national anthem the English do not. The GB anthem is also used as the English anthem. How would you feel as an English man or women at being asked to sing the national anthem of another country?

I must admit I am with all those who say give the Scots, the Welsh and the Northern Irish full and complete independance. That will bugger up their free prescriptions, public sector jobs, free university education and care for the elderley.

Is your tongue in cheek, or head up your arse, or both Godders ? Why not have these `free` perks you mention in England also ? I`m all for it . Why not aspire to having more services available as such - that`s the way it was a few years ago in England also, after all. Public sector jobs ? - in the last 2 weeks, I`ve sent my NI info to Newcastle, my tax return to Leeds, my driving licence to Swansea, my passport renewal to London.
