Hull
well after bringing on Garcia and Simpson on Tuesday night we really started to play football so do they start or does he start with Mclean and Harper again?

My Team

----------------Vito-----------------
Rosenior---Hobbs---Gerrard---Dawson
---------------Chester--------------
----Garcia------Evans------Koren---
-----------Simpson---Fryatt----------

What you think? <ok>

I'd like to see that team, but I reckon McLean will keep his place and Simpson will be used as impact again, unfortunately.

Do you think the fact we paid around 1 mil for Mclean means pearson feels he has to start him? You would think he could see something just isn't working for him at the moment, maybe try him off the bench to see if he can play an impact role.

I can't see Pearson thinking like that at all. He just rates McLean very highly and is confident he'll prove good enough. Most of us are somewhat sceptical at that but you can't fault him for having confidence.

Having said that, I do think he'll make way for Simpson tomorrow

I agree pearson won't think like that and can't think like that he has to pick the team who he thinks can win a match and i think on saturday simpson will start head of mclean

That's the team I'd go with at the moment, but it seems Harper and McLean are undroppable.

I think Pearson may still start with Mclean but not with Harper and just bring Simpson on as a sub later in the game

I suspect that pretty much everyone on here will want that team.

It will be interesting to see what Pearson does on Saturday, he knows we need to be more attacking at home and the last game proves that we now have a combination that works, it will be hard for him to ignore that.

I thought it was unlikely that Harper or Mclean would be dropped between now and the end of the season, now I'm not so sure.

I think if pearson really wants to go for it which it seems he does then he has no choice but to start with Garcia and Simpsons but we will have to just wait and see

I think it's clear from Evans interview who he wants to start:

"I'm playing first-team football and it suits me. The manager has told me to get further forward and with James Chester in midfield for the last two games, that's given me licence to get forward. I've been going box to box and I've managed to score two goals. I like to get involved in the whole game and I love getting about. I really enjoyed the Swansea game."

Good to hear is that

Did I read somewhere that evans chester and Stewart are living together somewhere? Think these three really could be the catalyst for us over the next couple of seasons. All excellent prospects and can only bode well if they get on both on and off the pitch
