Can't really comment on him as never heard of him before and know little or nothing about the Dutch league.
To be fair, if it is the 'exciting' deal, it certainly wouldn't be as exciting as if we were to sign Michu.
Think i remember seeing him play, fast with a bit of skill. But his form kinda dropped last season.(if I'm on about the right guy)

Look at Michu's stats. He is in the best footballing league in the world and that speaks for itself. The dutch league is hardly the be all and end all of domestic football.
Michu would be a much more exciting deal.
I didn't mention he Dutch league? I'm just saying it's very hard to say there's a MASSIVE CLEAR DIFFERENCE when one plays right at the arse end of the Spanish league, while one has been capped by the Dutch international team.
I didn't say you did? Michu had an impressive goal and assist record in the best footballing league in the world, and Lens has an average stat record in a much lower quality league. That speaks for itself. I'm not saying he isn't right for us, or is a bad player. I'm saying, like I pointed out in my first comment, that Michu would be a more exciting deal.
Oh, and fair enough to him for getting in the Dutch side. They did really well at the Euro's to be fair.
I don't think either particularly fulfills the quality of a really exciting signing but you're making it out as if there is a clear distinction between the two in terms of stature in the footballing world? Let's be fair, Michu has had one season at the top level, he's hardly an International superstar.
And in regards to your second comment, don't be an idiot. Saying things as stupid as that discredits anything else you have to say.
I don't see how? The Dutch are hardly world beaters, and with just four caps I can hardly see why you think that playing for them is a that big an achievement. I think there is a clear distinction. Michu top scoring midfielder in La Liga last season, or Lens, who before an hour or two ago we knew nothing about.
True, but I watched a lot of La Liga last season and Michu was always a stand out, albeit in a poor team.
