So if Rangers get titles stripped they will go to the team who finished second will they? <laugh>

How is it ridiculous? The precedent has been set in scottish football in which if a space becomes available then the next best team in the lower league is promoted. It's completely logical.

And by the way, 'inviting' a team to join your league is completely standard. That's how all non-founder members joined the scottish leagues and how, in recent years, Annan, Elgin, ICT etc etc all ended up in the SFL in the first place. Not through a playoff and not through promotion.

No, they'll go to the team that finished first once you cheating scumbags get removed from the records.

I doubt I would be willing to trade the humiliation of being punted into SFL3 for the sake of some trophies I was not even certain we'd get to keep.

What a pure riddy it will be if one of those stars on the shirt is removed.

Would it have to be removed though? Do teams have to ask permission from the SFA to put stars on their shirts, or could a team like Cowdenbeath put on say 8 if they wanted to?

Rangers won't remove the star even if it comes to that. they could add 5 more and no-one could make them change it.

I think you can do as you please.

The south americans are the worst for it. Some of them have a star for EVERY title (and some for just winning the cup) <laugh>

Mind you Aberdeen's star for their Super Cup "triumph" is scraping the barrel a little imo <laugh>

A sensible plan. In ten or twenty years time, who knows - you might've won that 50th title and the tattoo will be valid again. <ok>
