    I'm sure mmm No im positive that england U23 are not in the olympics mabon.....there is a team GB there that is representing you me and every other citizen in great Britain, I Hope they do well and progress through the tournament and i shall watch every game with as much ethusiasm as i do watching the swans.....Im really looking forward to it.......I wish that Beckham was there instead of giggs though as he dont deserve to be there.....

    I'm off on Sunday to Orlando mate, two weeks of chaos in Disney ;) then back to my mate's in slough for the football at Wembley twice

    Im going with wife and two grand kids for a month where the missus will go shopping and i will take in the two swans games in calafornia....Ventura County Fusion & San Jose Earthquakes 28th...31st july.......that is my plan anyway. I will follow team GB on the internet if i can....

    apparently 500,000 unsold tickets, they will be closing stands like the entire back tier in the millenium stadium. shame, they could have offered them cheaply and i'm sure they would sell, but i suppose it would be very unfair on the people who are paying full whack....<ok>

    Why not trying selling them at reduced prices and if sucessful refund the ones who paid full price (simplistic I know but)

    Dai as you know the FAW, SFA and FAI have disowned this team, the BOC then asked the only nation that wanted anything to do with it England to form a team from the English Under 21 side with 3 over age players. The FA agreed with the FAW,SFA, and FAI that they would not pick any Welsh,Scottish or Irish players if the Celtic nations signed a letter that they would not dispute the English putting their Under 21 side forward to play in the olympics as Team GB, but as is the way with the English and the BOC they reneged on the agreement and then invited players from the Celtic nations to put their names forward. So no Dai this team is not a Team GB that is representative of the british isles, it is the English football team with a few Welsh players , And lets face it Dai if England had not been in the Euro's do you honestly think that Taylor,Allen, Bellamy and co would be included i think not, Bale definately and Ramsey at a push. So do not kid yourself Dai this is an English organised team the celtic nation want nothing to do with it.

    They are giving them free to school children and local charitable organisations up in scotland.

    No problem Dilli. This will hopefully not be the last discussion on this subject.There is talk mind that they may be moving the games from the millenium stadium to Port Talbot, at least they will probably have a full house there <laugh>
