One useful thing is most of them are U-21 players, so can be in our first-team squad without affecting the 25-man limit. Caulker and Naughton will be in the first team squad, and a few more will probably be there for the Europa League/Carling Cup games (Kane, Coulibaly, Luongo, Carroll, Falque), but Caulker is the only one I can see starting a run of games.
Given that Fulham have been linked with Defoe, Jenas and Bentley and Dempsey's desire to leave, I'm surprised we haven't been linked with him. He's only got a year left on his contract, he'd fit this role well and I'm sure our new American kit manufacturer would appreciate it. I'd have thought there's more chance of him going abroad, if he doesn't join City. Milan have just sold Ibrahimovic, so perhaps he'll go there? Might even link up with the Swede at PSG, with the way they're spending.
well hopefully these youngsters are not just token gestures for the new manager..as for throwing them all into the Europa etc..i think AVB will be taking it a bit more seriously and might think that they can play againts some of the lesser Premier league teams whilst regular players ply some kind of role in getting us far in the Europa..AVB seems to like that trophy.
It depends how ready for the prime time our youth strikers are. I'm not qualified to judge them. If they aren't quite ready then i think we need another striker, otherwise we just have Ade and Defoe as 1st teamers. Rodallega might have been a decent shout for free, but missed him. If the youngsters are ready though then yeah, i'd be fairly happy with that window.
I have a feeling avb could get the best out of dos Santos in a 4 3 3. Hulk would be the perfect signing for what we need.
Not done yet then! http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...nuel-Adebayors-future-is-still-uncertain.html Which produces this... http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/3...ransfer-news-jose-salomon-rondon-adebayor.htm We still need another aswell as Ade, so maybe its both, I'm not going with the Fail's guff in the middle.
nope not done yet it seems and Cavani got a 35 million price tag...come on even Liverpool were ambitious enough..however ill advised in paying that much for Carrol...
A couple of years ago, we were offering £28m to sign Cavani and Simon Kjaer in a double bid, then backed out of the deal. Yeah, thanks for that Harry...
crazy..you see the 35 million for him seems to still be making sense considering the likes of AC went for similar and some unknown called Oscar has managed to stoke his price up to almost 25 million..i dont think he has trimmed any bushes never mind pull up any trees as far as i know(Oscar that is)
im going to start rumours off about us wanting Heskey..hopefully Roman Abramovich will get all green eyed again and bid 20 mill for him.
no idea, but there's now reports that Locomotiv Moscow are interested and could sabotage our attempts to sign him!
