It was decent, much better than I expected. Haye couldn't get to grips with Chisora's will to get forward and throw whatever he could at him for awhile but as soon as he started dodging a good amount of the reckless hooks it was all too easy. Certainly not a technical fight from Chisora, I remember him throwing some "punches" that looked very girlish as his hands were all over the place when he was trying to improvise combos.

Didn't enjoy that one, Inda :( Khan's fault entirely but I always support him.

Khan just showed how quickly a fight can turn if you ignore everything you know about your fighter and look to knock him out in the third, ending up on his arse himself. Real shame cos I think he can cut it at that level but it's a big setback for him to lose again.

I thought it was a cracking fight even though I was cheering for Khan. It went one way, then the other. I thought Khan might come back into it after the second knockdown. It looked like he might just have cleared his head during a 20 second spell but it was never to be.

It does look like the beginning of the end for him. He's got some fight left in him but I can't see anyone big wanting to fight him now. Going up in weight wont suit him.

I should have been more explanatory, I meant best fight for entertainment really, no, not pure technical ability, yeah Chisora did do a couple of embarrassing slaps...just had to laugh! good stuff though, very sporting at the end too. <ok>

Khans a twat, not professional enough in his losses, and a weak chin exposed a few times now, never rated him that highly anyway, its done him a favour imo, Mayweather???...he's avin a laff!

Spurs star surprises Saturday night drinkers in Shoreditch bar

"Spurs defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto paid a surprise visit to Bar Kick in Shoreditch on Saturday night, challenging the London crowd to games of table football - and demolishing them all.

The 28-year-old full-back had been ill for two days but was on top form as he made an impromptu visit to Shoreditch High Street in east London - and he proved that he is just as adept at table football as he is at the real thing.

Robbie Hopper, 26, from High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, arrived at the bar at 9pm.

He said: “I went over to the tables to ask if I could play the next game, and then I realised I was talking to Benoit Assou-Ekotto. He said ‘sure, of course’.

“We didn’t actually end up playing against him, but we were on the next table and he and his friend were just amazing. We’ve got a table at work so we play quite a lot, but he was incredible – the best we’ve ever seen.

“People were queuing up to play him – all good players, people who knew what they were doing. It was ‘winner stays on’ and he must have stayed on that table for at least an hour and a half - maybe two! No-one could beat him.

“Sometimes he was playing with his friend, who I didn’t recognise, and sometimes by himself. They were really cagey games and they went on for five to 10 minutes, but he always won.

“He was drinking some kind of pink cocktail – I don’t know whether it was alcoholic or not.

“People asked him for photos and he was always happy to do it and speak to them. He was very receptive to all of that - it was really nice to see. We went downstairs for a while and when we came back up around 11.30 he was gone.”

Assou-Ekotto, who has a reputation for a down-to-earth lifestyle which includes travelling around London on the tube, was back in training on Sunday morning.

Last night he changed his Twitter profile picture to a photo of himself next to the football tables in the bar and tweeted: “Shoreditch! This is the place!!! Luv it!!! LoL”

<laugh> He has to be the most down to earth footballer in the league. Any other player would have turned up with a whole entourage!

love the guy....great personality..and normal as can be..thats nice..most lose touch with the folk that go through the turnstiles.

BAE seems to have matured..remember that spat he had with a crowd member? ever since then he seems to have transformed into someone who just does it for the money to someone that actually loves playing for Spurs...well done B

And now it's Emmanuel Frimpong's turn in the dock for comments posted on Twattle, for calling a Spurs fan a "Scum Yid."

Hopefully some degree of common sense, namely the fact Spurs fans have been known as Yids for decades, and this doesn't get blown out of all proportion and The FA make an example out of him whilst forgetting to do anything about John Terry.

It won't, of course, mainly because I used "common sense" and "The FA" in the same sentence...

well at least frimpong has seen a recent example of how to get out of something like this.

"No, I didn't call you a scum yid", should work fine in his defence.

I'm reading that Carroll might be going back to Newcastle and I have to say that even with that huge price tag I'm not in the least bothered by his presence in the team which we meet first match. Far more concerned about Cisse and Ba. It's a sad indictment for him that he's not a feared forward.

random, but i just saw this and thought you lot might like to try it.

    1) go to google translate

    2) select croation to english

    3) type Mario Mandzukic into the "croatian" section.

    4) see what happens...

surely someone's got to have hacked google?

or alternatively it's google having a laugh?

that cant be possible... surely? I know that some foreign names can translate directly, but there's no ****ing way "Mario" translates to "Jermain". I'm gullable, but even I'm not falling for that one!<laugh>

    Hilarious though!
