Amazing final yesterday. Both such good tennis players who don't rely on a massive serve. The quality and diversity of straight line and cross court shots was superb. - made for a far better game.

On a slightly different note, does anyone know when there's going to be a pres conference for avb, sig and vert's? Would be nice to see something..

John Terry's 'trial' begins today, had a sniff over on the Chelsea board to see their thoughts on the matter, and there's no mention of it. A case of 'hear no evil, see no evil'?

Max sentance is a £2.5k fine (prob has that down the back of the sofa), was just wondering, if found guilty, would his club and the FA take any further action against him, and in what shape or form would/could it be?

nothing will happen. never does with John Terry. I'll be dead by the time justice is served to him.

8 match ban, £40k fine and sacked by Chelsea. Anything less would be spineless from both parties.

Luis Martin has joined our coaching staff as First Team Coach, according to the OS.
Used to work for Sporting, Braga and the Saudis, apparently.

Not sure is being publicised yet, or if any of you are interested, but thought it worth putting up just in case.

ok, I'm off to complain to my company's HR & PR department heads. We should only be allowing top grade promo events to be held on our properties :p

I think he's just realised that the Chelsea board basically consists of about 5 of their fans talking crap about Spurs, so he's trying to drum up some interest by posting something positive.

Ferdinands bottled it, says he didn't hear anything.

Is that so Anton, what made you react so instantly at the time then as your body language clearly demonstrated, you had to be held back...why?

I'm going with a slightly different story - The FA have advised QPR it would be in their best interests for Ferdinand to change his story...

He hasn't? Wasn't him who made the complaint and always said he didn't hear anything at the time. He has neither bottled it nor changed his story.

and why would they do that unless it is ultimately in their own intrests and not really the intrest of A.Ferdinand.?

the FA are not to be trusted.
