From what I've seen of him I have been impressed! With the right service I think he would be a top striker 4 us
evans was on fire when on loan at norwich (the season we got promoted i believe). remember sticking a tenner on him to be top scorer the summer he joined sheff utd as well.
i predicted last week, hed end up at QPR, might become an agent id be quite happy with evans and nugent, nugent has pace which is the alternative outlet to a targetman, with stewart out we have little of it, and our attacks are a bit slow and predictable at times.. mclean reminds me of ***an, his legs appear to be moving fast, but doest actually get anywhere..
If we've got a few quid to spend, I'd like us to test Watford with a bid for Danny Graham, they're supposed to be skint, so we might get a decent deal. Edit - equally, I'd like to test Millwall with a bid for Morison.
Agreed Lambrettaman. I'd love us to get Danns and/or Greening. We need some a bit more creativity in the middle of midfield. A kind of similar role to what Bullard did. Maybe a new LB and RW too. Maybe another striker who is a bit more of a poacher.
Agreed, AP was too busy pandering to his own ego and fanboys to think this through properly. In all likelihood we'll have to give him away at the very least and hope he wants to take a wage cut to do us a favour, though why he'd want to do that is anyone's guess.
this may seem a little mad to some people but what about pushing rosenior up to RW and chester RB or a replacement, ROsenior seems to have a good delivery and skins the majority of lb/lw he comes up against,
Pearson did that against Swansea and we wobbled, so he moved Rosie back to right back and stuck Chester in the middle with Evans with Garcia on the wing and we were far more dangerous.
He's not responsible for the contract he was given, no. I've never claimed otherwise though, so I don't see what you're hoping to achieve from this post. AP could have handled the situation a lot better though, he let us ego and reputation get in the way knowing that people would blindly defend him.
I am trying to find some common ground. I am sure we will agree that you have no faith in Adam Pearson to do what he does well, and that is manage football clubs to a credible budget. However I am sure we will also agree that neither of us actually knows what has gone on with JB in the last 12 months. Therefore I am trying politely to understand why you are so convinced that the JB problem stops at AP,s door and that there are no more players in the saga.
Am praying for the departure of Bullard, he's like an albatross round the clubs neck and has been for a while
