I think in the right conditions Suarez has the ability to rack up 15-20.

With smart, quick players around him he'll be a lot more dangerous.

    chelsea under mourinho.

    4-3-3....

    cehc
    Ferrier carvalho terry cole
    Ballack Lampard Makelele
    Robben Drogba Duff

Robben scored as many if not more than drogba who never got goals until mourinho left nearly. Lampard did the majority of scoring and ballack chipped in.

If we are really going to play suarez in the right channel up front where he plays for Uruguay then great. I don't see Dempsey being any better than kuyt or even maxi could be so fail to see why we bring him in when we could go with downing/maxi/bellamy/sterling. Only time and a view of borini actually in action can answer about him... again i fail utterly to see why its a "choice" between him or carroll at the club when I feel we need more forwards not simply swapping them.
One injury and we're toast... again.

I have thought that we should play 4-3-3 since last year started but really saw when kenny tired that it'd take some time and education to get guys to play it... shelvey was exposed in it, he was poor positionally as he'd no clue what to do. Adam i think won't suit it as he fails to cover others and wanders out of position. it will be interesting to see how quickly we adapt if we actually use it.

Pretty much agree apart from Kuyt - he was very poor last year. Dempsey is infinitely more talented on the ball.

Fabio Borini is to join Liverpool and become the first signing of Brendan Rodgers's reign after the Merseyside club agreed a fee with Roma.

The Reds have refused to disclose how much they will pay for Italy forward Borini, although the fee is reported to be £11m.
    Fabio Borini factfile

Joined Bologna, the club he grew up supporting as a child, in 2001 as a youth player

Aged 18, he made his senior Chelsea debut when he replaced Nicolas Anelka in the final minute of a 3-0 win over Tottenham on 20 September 2009
Scored two goals on his Swansea debut in a 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest on 19 March 2011

Found the net in four successsive games for Roma last season against Parma, Atalanta, Lazio and Palermo

Borini, 21, worked with Rodgers at the Chelsea academy and on loan at Swansea in March 2011.

He played 12 times for the Swans, scoring six goals at the club.

The forward then moved to Parma on a free transfer after his contract expired at Chelsea, before moving to Roma.

Liverpool already have forwards Luis Suarez and Craig Bellamy, and Rodgers admitted he would consider allowing England striker Andy Carroll to leave the club on loan.

in 2008/2009 when Torres and Gerrard score virtually all the goals, we must have got around 40-50 goals from those two alone. Other than that, only Benayoun really had a fairly decent goal record.

If Suarez, Borini, Dempsey and Gerrard all scored just 12 goals each, that would be 48 goals.

Add Downing's 30 goals to that and we have 78.

I'd expect at least one of the 4 I listen to score more than 12 goals though, getting closer to 20.

squarez missed 25% of games and got 17... its a given in my mind that if he plays 90% of games he will get 25 goals.

If either carroll or borini or both if we believe hype are at the club i expect about 10-15 depending whos the first choice.... = 25 goals

If ANYONE converted the pens we got they'd have 10 goals so if gerrard even just stays fit he'll have a chance at ten goals. = another 10

    expect 5 from johnsons, 2-4 from CBS = 7

I'm at 67 before we even mention goals form other players and the likes of bellamy.

I think 5 from Johnson is a big ask. But 7-10 from the back 4 is reasonable.

If Rogers wants to bring the best out of Henderson I feel he could be good for goals.

Shelvey, given games will chip in a few.

Think we should expect 15 from Suarez, 10-15 from Borini, 10 from Gerrard, 10 from Dempsey (if signed), 5 from Bellamy/Maxi, 5-8 from Johnson/Skrtel/Agger and then 5 from Hendo/Lucas/Shelvey.

Also, rumours are that Adam is part of the Dempsey deal.

suarez should get 25 goals if he plays... trust me on this.. 15 rom a guy who got 17 despite missing a quart of the year? he must deliver.

i'd love a swap of adam and dempsey... now that would actually slightly appeal to me as it'd say rodgers is thinking my way and must be thinking new midfielder too.... hope its true.

Dembele probably won't leave. They still have Diarra, Sidwell, Etuhu who can play in the middle and partner Dembele.

He might do. Murphy was a creative player, as is Adam. The others don't compare properly. Find something else to laugh at maybe.
