And Fabregas ...and Clichy ......and Nasri ........and Toure ............and Adebayor ...............and Henry ..................and Ashley Cole .....................and Viera ........................and Petit ...........................and Overmars ..............................and the list goes on.
I hope you don't honestly think that you will be riding high at the top of the league in a few years time. Because that's all that I'm interpreting from that post.
Ahh, ok. So you are planning on pumping money into the team to try and buy success? I look forward to see how that goes.
He has served the terms of his contract so far, if he is to be sold, then that won't happen, but if he is to leave on a free, then so be it. It's not nice, but wither way, we will make a lot of money from it. Sell him now and get £20 million, or let him leave on a free next summer after he has helped to reach the Champions League again giving us £40 million. I know which one I would go for. Although it would be different in QPR and Hoiletts case, as QPR won't reach those heights. I feel privileged, he is a majestic player. Only Real Madrid or Barcelona would be big enough for him.
Then you interpreted it wrongly. I said if he's going to attract the attention of better paying clubs, of which there aren't many, then that would suggest he'll have done very well for us over the length of his contract.
RVP great player and I agree a great player to watch but he doesn't want to stay. If you think that your incoming players are in that quality bracket then you are mistaken. I also believe I possibly known more about your club than you do. I can tell you straight that at least the feeling in France is that Arsenal are no longer a desirable team to play for as most think AW has lost the plot. Arsenal in fact could find themselves falling a lot quicker than most of us believe. It's going to be interesting Zorba as faith is running out on Arsenal quickly
It's an honourable list, but with this bloke's paranoia, not destined to be an exclusive club for very long....
Would be very surprised if Granero ended up at QPR. If he comes to England I'd imagine it'll be Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal, that sort of team. He'd be a versatile squad member for any of these sides.
I feel that a lot of people may be surprised by QPR now as the transformation will only snowball from here on in ... no one knows know how well this team will gel but if that happens QPR could be in an interesting position ... I have said before its this simple: money, style and location ... if west london isn't a place to rebuild a club into a global brand then where is it? ... This is happening and if the Mittals pour into this then and the stuff is done on the pitch don't be surprised to be watching QPR playing the very best in Europe within a few years
Have to say I would agree with this...at the moment...things can change quite quickly though, so who knows, in a couple of seasons this type of signing could be the norm and we could be challenging for a european spot. Happy to keep my feet firmly on the ground for now and aim for a mid table finish and some decent/quality signings to suit us thanks
