Terry trying and failing to get the case thrown out. Is that an attempt undermine the case in the jurors eyes? Lawyers often say stuff that the judge makes them withdraw knowing that the jury will not dismiss it totally from their minds, don't they?

Sometimes I wished I watched Judge John Deed and Ally McBeal so I knew the answers to these :(

Not what I meant mate, I'm saying Ferdinand has bottled it by saying that...whenever it was. I was referring to his sudden reaction in the video footage, he heard something! why did he react as he did? It certainly wasn't for hearing the usual matchday banter. Same ol thing, everyone would like to see Terry stuffed, as long as someone else does it. AF knows that unless he had the backing of everyone in the immediate vicinity of the incident, including Terry's teammates, all willing to stand in court against him, he was on a loser and would end up a pariah himself. Hence taking the heat off himself with that statement after advice, I wouldn't mind betting from Rio. All just my opinion btw.<ok>

The footage of them squaring up is after Terry went down looking for a penalty and before Terry allegedly racially abused Anton, I think.
 
John Terry calls Ashley Cole as a character witness. That doesn't even require a follow-up line...

It's a shame he didn't also call Didier Drogba as a witness, given Drogba isn't a Chelsea player any more so would've been able to stitch him up good and proper.
