Same ol thing, everyone would like to see Terry stuffed, as long as someone else does it. AF knows that unless he had the backing of everyone in the immediate vicinity of the incident, including Terry's teammates, all willing to stand in court against him, he was on a loser and would end up a pariah himself. John Terry calls Ashley Cole as a character witness. That doesn't even require a follow-up line... It's a shame he didn't also call Didier Drogba as a witness, given Drogba isn't a Chelsea player any more so would've been able to stitch him up good and proper.
