Day off work so I'll have £1 on each race at Ayr and see what the profit/loss ratio is at the end of the day. Picked my first UK Classic winner this year at the weekend- took me long enough!

    2.00 Municipal

    2.30 Rothesay Chancer

    3.00 Lady Bluesky

    3.30 Ryan Style

    4.00 High Resolution (NAP)

    4.30 Critical Point

    5.00 Oakbrook

Yesterdays runners added to my GG alert list <ok>

Burning Blaze - Travelled like the best horse in the race. Finished only 3rd in the end but that only down to lack of experience in my opinion and although it sounds stupid I feel he shaped a lot better than the runner up who was also making her debut. The fact that Burning Blaze was well backed is interesting and I expect he will shed the maiden tag next time out.

Catch A Peach - Sent off a big price on debut and was again yesterday. Held up towards the rear on both starts and not really asked for much by jockey on both occasions. Wouldn't be backing this one in maiden company but interesting when see gets a handicap mark.

Goldenveil - Coming down in the weights rapidly and showed promise yesterday repeatedly denied a clear run. Don't think he would have won but shaped a lot better than his 5th position suggests.

Silver Rime - Another one coming down in the weights and ran on fairly well yesterday to finish 5th. Should pick up a race soon.

The Oil Magnate - Hacked up yesterday & should go in again.

Script - Travelled very well yesterday outrunning his 22-1 odds. Still not sure what the jockey was doing though (saying that ATR report he lost a rein) ran on to take 2nd in the end without every threatening the winner.

Chicago - Has the ability to pick up another race soon. Had a good chance yesterday but didn't get the best of rides considering he can be awkward for pressure (travelled sweetly before asking for everything at once)

Agree, totally. I’m a million miles away from being knowledgeable re football and the 2 things that I posted on the Liverpool & Tottenham sites were nothing more than recycled jokes from recent callers on TalkSPORT. How anyone can take offence and close a thread that asks now that Swansea and Liverpool have agreed compensation re Brendan Rogers how much will Swansea have to pay has quite literally had a sense of humour bypass. Read the Tottingham one though people that is quality even if I do say so myself!

RV, it’s probably that they are going to build a new stadium. Was in the paper yesterday.

Going to rename the team "Caterham Football1"

Either that or they are sending Joey Barton to Guantanamo Bay.

Afternoon all, in the 2.30 Ayr ROTHESAY CHANCER 8/1 (EW) looks to have strong claims. The ground shouldnt be a worry and all of his best form has been over 5f which he drops back to today. LTO he ran todays favourite to 4l when running on over 6f, he meets him on 11lb better terms which may be too much in todays conditions, that said Head Space won with plenty in hand and looks the one to beat but not at odds of 2/1.

SBC - As a follower of the football and in particular one for the clubs that you question, Liverpool, i have to agree with you. I do find it hard to post on the football forum and not because im scared to but what comes with it. Any point of view is just an excuse for these so called experts to spout off as if you've never seen a game of football before in your life, let alone be able to comment on it. Plus im afraid its also full of wind up merchants that just argue because of the team you support, and nowt to do with what you are saying...

Dont get me wrong thee are some good posters on the football, and on Liverpool's forum, but for my eyes not enough of em to get involved...

    What exactly happened?

RP commentary says "Head Space tried to jump the winning line, unseated"

    Sounds very odd

He jumped the winning line last time at Ayr as well but he was clear. This time he slammed the breaks on when coming to win the race - has only been beaten a neck and a head. Fuming isn't the word
