Another couple of rumours, no comments below are mine!! 07 Jul 2012 20:04:01 Steve Lansdown (majority shareholder at Bristol City) has been seen speaking to Richard Keogh in The Pump House; not that far from Bristol City. Lets hope he's signing! Y would they bespeaking in the pump house when Steve office is a stone through away, Archor road, Yes, I can confirm both were in Pump House earlier. Just seen them there as well Dont understand why team want keogh. I am a city fan and i dont want a player who played for a team that went down!! ******************************************************************************************** 08 Jul 2012 01:28:44 Bristol City will complete signings of Richard Keogh, Leroy Lita and Suso this week. ******************************************************************************************** 08 Jul 2012 01:01:30 Scott Allan in talks with Bristol City about a transfer from West Bromwich Albion.
not much moving in the championship, but if I was a Brighton fan I'd be very happy about the Bridge loan and on the other hand if I was a Boro fan I'd be saying Woodgate? WTF!
"Scott Allan in talks with Bristol City about a transfer from West Bromwich Albion" Oh dear, he happens to be Scottish.. The natives will go in to melt down if we sign a Scot..
Saw an article on SSN that George Boyd is transfer listed as he wont sign a new contract, would be an awesome signing and sort left mid out.
A lot of david Dunn rumours flying around on the rumour site? Wouldnt be a bad addition but at 32 is it the right direction
wayne bridge? we wouldnt say no had we had him offered to us, but i feel we will got the better player in the long run.
But Shiny they are probably paying Bridge £20k a week - if we spend that much on a players wages he has to be able to change the game (which is why in hindsight going for Jamo was a mistake 2 years ago)
Maybe some movement on the Suso front. Apparently Brendan Rodgers has said he wants him to go out and play some first team football - of course does not nessisarily mean with us
But the Suso rumour to us has been confirmed that it is a made up rumour on OTIB. The poster wanted to see if these rumours are taken seriously and apparently it was this time. But there is no truth in it.
I've always admired Bridge, and if not for Cole and Terry he would of played a lot more for England, but are Brighton paying the whole of his wages, we may never know!
As a pool fan and a Bristol local, would love to see you get Suso on a seasons loan, (unless he is playing in our firat team.) There is a thread on the Liverpool board with highlights of how he is playing in the European u19s championship.....Take a look, I think you will be impressed.......But lets face it, he is the Spain U19 playmaker, whats not to be impressed about.... Hope if he goes out on loan its to you boys...Will have to make the long trip from Clevedon to watch him as often as possible if he does..
Don't now much about the lad,he is obviously rated highly as Spain's playmaker, just the sort of player we need to dictate the play in the middle of the park. Seems like he would be ideal for us,I could not see him breaking into liverpools first eleven,a season in the championship would do him good, let him get used to the pace of the english game in the second tier.
Below is the comment from OTIB where the poster admits that he made it up!! Oh yeah and to kill the Suso rumour.. Here's the guy from Otib "For the last time.... I made up the Suso rumour on Football Rumours. It was the first time I've used the site and wanted to see how far it would actually go if I made a believable rumour up. I'm still shocked the EP published it twice (it got picked up within two days) and unless it's a huge coincidence it's categorically not true."
Below is a rumour I would love to be true. George Boyd would be a fantastic signing 09 Jul 2012 08:03:09 ANY NEW BRISTOL CITY TRANSFER NEWS IN OR OUT. I heard that swansea were after albert adomah? - Gonzo Stuart Armstrong & George Boyd to be revealed as city players at Ashton gate on Wednesday Afternoon.
A couple more (unlikely) rumours: 09 Jul 2012 20:42:43 Bristol City are lining up a pay as you play deal for Paul Robinson ex of Bolton. Robbo plans to take his coaching badges this year and will use the opportunity to maintain fitness and learn from Derek McInnes. 09 Jul 2012 19:50:31 Manchester City youngster Devante Cole to sign for his father's former club Bristol City on a season long loan.
Devante is only 17, but if he has the same eye for goal as his old man maybe lightning does strike twice
