Dragan Stojkovic. Quality player back in the day and he turned down the opportunity to replace Pat Rice, apparently. Good man!
There were a number of reports about it in the media, probably based upon this sort of thing: http://news.arseblog.com/2011/09/stojkovic-details-perfect-wenger-relationship/
Bit of news on Hudd - has been training well all week and will take part in normal pre-season with the rest of the squad.
Just a comment lads but I feel that there are too many threads off the subject of Spurs eg Mouser watch and RVP. I don't think other teams and their players merit a thread on the Spurs board. I know I don't have to answer them and can ignore them but it's as I say just a comment. No offence meant to the thread authors.
TMT there are no rules on thread subjects, people can post what they like. The posters choose what to comment on and therefore keep the threads running or let them die. This is one of the advantages of not606, threads remain up if people are interested. On old 606 the newest article replaced the older which often meant threads disappeared before they got going. There are only 4 non Spurs specific threads that's out of 25 and don't forget people are very interested in what our greatest rivals are doing.
Wimbledon Final Drinking Game: * Every time the commentators mention Fred Perry, 1936, or 76 years, take a drink * Every time the commentators say "So close" or variations upon, take a drink * Every time Murray benefits from another dodgy line call, take a drink * Every time Murray whacks a shot directly into the net, take a drink * Every time Murray is seen grumbling to himself, take a drink * Every time a close-up shows Murray is clearly balding, take a drink * Every time the camera shows Pippa Middleton in the crowd, take a drink * Every time you see a ember of the crowd covered in Union Flags, take a drink * Every time the camera shows Murray's mother, take a drink - you'll need one...
The Goons have started the predictions for their first game against Sunderland already. I don't know what's more ridiculous, that one predicted Van Persie to score, or that one predicted Pato to score
Huddlestone made Andy Gray look like a twat on Twitter... sorry more of a twat. As much as I wanted Murray to win today I could understand supporting a true great like Federer who, lets face it, is miles better and simply incredible to watch at the top of his game.
Yeah, I've just been reading about that. Can't see that Tommy said anything wrong myself, but that's Andy Gray for you I suppose.. Harry Redknapp is curently taking legal action against Gray for allegedly making libellous comments about Harry over his recent court case. Gray would be well advised to keep his mouth shut.
cracking champion..and his head is not up his own arse...even though it could be and rightly so. take note Murray
What the **** is Andy Gray's problem? Absolutely nothing wrong with what Huddlestone said, so why's the old drunken perv having a dig?
Andy Gray just being a sore losing jock, why the surprise? Here's the conversation supposedly according to Who Ate All the Pies...hope it is accurate! http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/tott...estone-on-twitter-over-wimbledon-remarks.html
That makes more sense! please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Heaven knows Murray's miserable now?
When asked who he wanted to win the Euro championship Murray said "Any one but England." I'm glad, cock a hoop and feeling great that he lost today. May he continue to lose.
For God's sake he was joking! He has an English Girlfriend, English team around him and lives in England. I am very proud to have such a great sportsman representing my country. Not his fault Federer, Nadal and Djokovic are probably the 3 greatest players ever.
