We're in some of the best times of the clubs history, financially well-off for the first time ever, breaking club transfer records and aiming high for the first time since Lawrie McMenemy's tenure, and still you find a reason for a boycott.
The slash was different because it was a one off thing, celebrating our 125th anniversary. This is different though. There are no excuses for us having an almost all red kit...unless Cortese has an alliance with Malaysia, like Cardiff.
Ah balls to that. Looks all right to me. Both kits in fact. You'll forget your dislike when Saints start winning more matches than you expect. Frankly, they could be dressed in sky blue-pink for all I care. Have a periodic break with tradition. Next time it might be stripes again. I don't care as long as we keep marching on up the league. Oh, by the way, I reserved the right to chuckle, and I didn't. That was a good call by someone who obviously can't keep a secret.
You can't just not like it, there must be some other reason. According to the Oracle it's because you are afraid of change.
I do think the shorts arguement carries some weighting. I'm not convinced with the red shorts. Maybe if we'd had the same white shorts for both?
My only qualm. I love them though. Will purchase myself one, and maybe treat myself for the other at another time. (or for Christmas if anyone wishes to buy for me)
Dark Lord, I WILL be wearing that new one through the streets of Nether Heyford with a big plaquard saying "Out with the old, in with the new"
Home kit is beyond crap, into a whole new dimension of utter ****ness. And when I say ****, I mean the type of runny **** with added nuggety cling-ons. Away kit is ok though. Home kit is crap though. Must have taken Umbro all of 20 minutes to design that after looking at Liverpool kits of the 80's & 90's. Well, I never buy kits, I'm sure those of you who spunk £45 on a bit of cheap man-made fibre to make it the most expensive item in your wardrobe will look lovely. Pinstripes are very slimming as well for the fat ****ers. YNWA... I mean.. COYR
What i love is that I can get the home kit now as I need to enter my son in the draw for mascot v Wigan (his grandad is a season ticket holder at Wigan, so please no-one else enter it) and then the wife can get me the away kit for my birthday at the end of August! Mmmmmmm I'm loving it!
Is that how we judge kits? If so, I only wish they spent all of 10 minutes copy/pasting the Stoke/Sunderland kit and pritt sticking the Saints logo on. That'd be better, obviously.
