he really has been messed around, firstly he is one of cities best players and they couldnt wait to get rid, now he was one of liverpools best players last season at times, they presumably want a younger squad to develope but also make short term snap decisions such as sacking dalglish.......make your mind up FSG......<ok>

p/s, kudos if your right mate but this time we'd have to pay all his wages, not just 20%, its 10x more unlikely to happen this time imo..

Oh really a waste of time is it SKM well if it's such a waste of time why don't you go talk about it with KJ and boneymaen over with the jacks 'cause obviously unlike you Bellamy loves this club so that's why he should be playing in a red city shirt next year

I think CB would love to come back, he knows he'll be playing in a team this time not a bunch of individuals.

I hope Brandon & Malky can make it happen.

    Harsh

I agree with Swamp. Why should Bellamy (a world class player) waste his limited career playing in the second tier? It was his love of the club that he did it for one season but when he was arguable Liverpool's best signing last season why would he want to rot away in the Championship?

    you're being aggressive ccfc....why???

we cant afford a salary of £4m+.....fact. also a waste of time for a player who should be playing champions league football to play in the 2nd tier......

'unlike you bellamy loves this club' i'm just being realistic mate, if we have a turnover of say £15m would it be wise to spend near enough a third of that on one players salary?

I would love him to come back but I'm not going to believe anything until there is an official announcement on the CCFC website

While I think the salary could be a stumbling block (and only the board will know), I think it's worth remembering that Bellers is a character of his own. I honestly don't think that the the things that would normally influence other players necessarily apply to him. As for it being a waste of time for him being here, once again, Bellers is clearly a man who is in charge of his own time and he, and he alone will judge what is wasteful in his life. He's not the same greed driven individual that many players are.

Despite all that, I think it more likely that he will have another season at Anfield - but who knows.
