I like Moses but I don't like the stat ****. Didn't Downing have the most successful crossing rate or some **** like that before we signed him and then he couldn't pass or cross the ball to save his life ( into the box that is). ??? I am actually kind of excited that Euros is almost over so that we can get some transfer **** going on.
At 21 it is clear to see he was good though, that stat just proves that he has the balls to take people on and beat them. Downing for Moses straight swap?
Yes! And all the Swans fans will rib us for buying a relegation threatened player when the coach of the team is the one they attribute all of their success to, not Brendan Rodgers..... who did it in the prem.... not league 1........ ****s
Moses also had the most shots to no goals at one point too. He didn't score until the end part of the season. I like Moses but there is something about him that suggests he won't fulfil the potential.
That could be down to playing for Wigan, he's young so plenty of time for potential filling. Though I wont lose sleep if we didn't sign him.
Agreed, I would like to throw price in there as well, anything roun 15 can **** right off as we could get Adam johnson for that.
Nothing to do with the club a player plays for, I really rate Matt Jarvis despite him playing for Wolves. Although he's also just had a stinker of a season so will be good to see how he copes if he gets a move to another premier league club (or Wolves get promoted but he be getting on a bit by the time two seasons have passed). I think he would improve our squad but that is because we have a lack of creative wide players
I think Jarvis, Fletcher, Doyle will all be targets for Villa, all three would improve their team and are right there. Also Valencia was at shoddy Wigan and he is quite brilliant!
Elsewhere, Caughtoffside reports that 6ft 8in Ivory Coast forward Lucina Traore is set to become Brendan Rodgers' first signing as Liverpool manager. Traore notched up 18 goals in his first season with Russian Premier League side FC Kuban Krasnodar having burst onto the scene during his time at Romanian side Cluj. Just for Noblelox " I think this player would be perfect for Liverpool, I can't wiat for him to sign" I knwo nothing of him but that he is apparently massive.
He's nearly 6 inches taller than Carroll, is the same age and plays up front... If we played him, Carroll and Carragher in the same XI, Jamie would have a field day!!
Is that your little quote thing at the bottom? Mine was : " Sounds like a good bye, doesn't it?" Bozz: That would probably be my nightmare in terms of how exactly I would hate us to play
That came from me. Can you imagine if he came? What would Suarez call him considering Negrito means 'LITTLE black man/friend'?
Haha, I know in Portuguese inho-inha is little and ao- is big so it would be Negao For Spanish not sure, Grande Negro? I am sure Pacheco will tweet it at some point.
Liverpool centre-half Martin Skrtel plays down rumours he is heading out of Anfield. "I will be leaving for Liverpool on 6 July," says the Slovakian's official website. "There is also speculation about my exit from Liverpool but I can say that there was no offer on the table yet and we didn't hold talks with any club." Yet? uh oh. Good to see nothing has actually been done but don't like that "yet" in there.
He's confirmed as an Anzhi player now. The Gaston Ramirez stuff is really hotting up. On a side note, I was at my school's leaving formal last night, got home at 5, can't remember anything, missed the Italy-Germany match, feel like I've been sat on by an elephant. Jesus wept.
In Spanish little is usually translated as pequeno eg "hablo a pequeno Espagnol" - I speak a little Spanish However, a little boy is often called Nino
And I speak fluent German, keep your enemies closer and all that. On that topic we have a few links to Andrea Shurrle from Leverkusen, he would give some much needed pace.
Yes but ito adds a little to it, pequito, same thing but kind of that slang. We were trying to find the big version of it and I know the portuguese one but not Spanish.
