Fair enough. You're not all wrong there, it's certainly going to be a huge summer for us.

There's going to be question marks over any new manager that takes over, even if Mourinho took over you could say that we don't know how he'd do on a much smaller budget than he's had before. I'd say there are still lots of question marks over Rodgers too, he's never managed a team in Europe, the squad he's inherited struggled last season and aren't suited to the kind of pass, pass, pass, football that he had at Swansea so something will have to change. Not saying that he won't do well but there's a lot of unknowns on his ability to do well at Liverpool.

Of course there will be some problems if bids come in for our best players, do you seriously think Reina, Suarez and Skrtel wouldn't consider offers too? As much as losing players is bad, if you are going to lose players for big money it's best to have a new manager in as they rarely join a team where they have a squad of players they rate and suit the style they want play so the extra money would come in handy, even if losing your best players is not what you want.

strange how im seeing all the fans becoming bitter whilst on page 1 it was something else...and by page 17 everything has been twisted and abuse thrown in for good measure.

it's almost like admitting..'dont ever take us seriously again'

We know where we are in the footballing world, but you are still living on past glories my friend, liverpool were(past tense) a great club, shankly and paisley are in the past, siggy has realised that if he wants to win trophies spurs are a better bet than liverpool and ourselves, the difference is this we accept we are a small club, but a small club capable of beating big clubs like citey & arsenal and the not so big clubs like liverpool.

Yeah, people being hopeful that a possibly (one season so far) good player was coming to our club turning to disappointment that he may possibly not be coming. Questions asked by reds to other reds why: is it the way we do things, is it because he's a mercenary? Thats basically a cry for help!

Also asking why he'd choose a club who despite being obviously better than us last season possibly even probably will be in the same turbulent transition as us in the same competitions this year?

It's all because we're secretly jealous of that HUGE London club that won...oh wait nothing; even arsenal got their ribbon, Chelsea got the CL...

I'll give Yid his due; he at least pretended to discuss; you just tossed off over the signing of a semi decent player that may or may not have happened on the wrong board.

Clearly they don't disagree on who's the bigger club so you'll have to come up with something else to get an argument.

christ sigurdson's going to spurs - who gives a ****. As for spurs being a bigger club, well that's my chuckle for the day, they're not even the first, or second, biggest club in London!

tossed off? my point is not even about the player it is about the way you resort to abuse etc...and proven once again in your so called reply...i can do that too.

as for me tossing off..like i said on the Spurs board in the early afternoon..im not excited about having him for many reasons...but to be going about abusing Spurs because they are getting a player you wanted...and yet on this thread you was trying to call a Swansea fan bitter for cursing you over getting the player instead of them....un ****ing believable..

Frank are you the voice of reason trying to evaluate wether one person is pretending to discuss and the other is not?..it is all based on what you want to hear i think as the defining factor in wether an opinion is valid or not.

stop frothing at the mouth lads..you come across twisted and very sore <ok>

Yid, you missed the basis of the metaphor.

Most of the Swansea boys are ok; they've kinda made this their second home for the last 3 months (might as well; every other fan lives here)
I like how they play/ed. If they continue to play in our league great. But then I remember Leeds; Watford, Portsmouth, I could go on so if I was them id concentrate on season 2,3,4 and not on clubs they'll never come near in terms of size & success. The Swansea team brought a refreshing approach to the game. Unfortunately their fans are bringing a tired approach to the Wum. I'd advise they stop copying you lot & stick to their own style.

So an ant deciding which rock is bigger is kind of a pointless exercise. They should just leave it at too big.

Liverpool; the most fascinating "nobodies" in football.

    Ah :D

At the end of the day, being the bigger club really doesn't matter much. There's no doubt Monaco and Marseille are bigger clubs than Montpellier but I'd rather sign for Montpellier right now.

This argument doesn't really work on any levels. You say were were a big club a while ago, presumably because we won loads of trophies. And if wiining loads of trophies is the marker of a big club, you can't say that of Spurs. So either we're both big clubs currently, or neither of us are.

The size of their club doesn't dictate the validity of their opinions on other clubs. Whether they're an ant, a rock, or scissors it makes no difference.

Lol Spurlock; I'm not sure I understand why you're on this thread.

    Is it to

    a) share your concerns that you think your club might have bought (possibly) a lemon.

    b) to chastise LFC fans for being to negative to themselves, their management, mercenary footballers, spurs, Swansea, the tea lady:

    c) is it with comments like "basically saying no longer take us seriously" your only actual contribution to the thread was that you were being a Wum albeit a poor one.

I've already contributed to the questions raised by this thread. All you've done is try to be a smart arse & then whined like a little girl when the big bad Liverpool fans respond to your pathetic wind ups.

    Go menstruate somewhere else.
